A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 9th day of July, 1951.

A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and that the leasehold estate in the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, held from His Majesty the King by Emma Catherine Turley Smout and Grace Marie Turley Smout, both of Apiti, Spinsters, under and by virtue of lease in perpetuity, Volume 4A, folio 126 (Wellington Registry), is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 9th day of July, 1951.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 126474, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of June, 1951.

Leasehold Estate in Land Taken for Irrigation Purposes in Blocks VI, IX, and X, Spaxton Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from His Majesty the King by George Burrell, of Alford Forest, Farmer, under and by virtue of renewable lease, Volume 442, folio 101 (Canterbury Land Registry), is hereby taken for irrigation purposes.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the leasehold estate is taken: 18 acres 2 roods 20 perches.
Being part Lot 2, D.P. 5117, being part Reserve 2000.
Situated in Blocks VI, IX, and X, Spaxton Survey District (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 7672.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 123495, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of July, 1951.

Revoking a Proclamation Taking the Leasehold Estate in Land for Irrigation Purposes in Blocks VI, IX, and X, Spaxton Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 6th day of March, 1951, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 18 of the 8th day of the same month at page 294, taking the leasehold estate in land for irrigation purposes in Blocks VI, IX, and X, Spaxton Survey District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of July, 1951.

P URSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1948.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land : 133 acres.
Being portion of Waikawa West Native Reserve, situated in Block XII, Linkwater Survey District. (S.O. 962.)
In the Marlborough Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 31504, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged purple.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of July, 1951.
