for That Purpose, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act, 1928, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the
land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to
the Land Act, 1948.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown Land :
39·5 perches.
Being Lot 24, D.P. 15621, being part Section 80, Block II, Tapapa
Survey District, situated in the Borough of Matamata, being
part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title,
Volume 829, folio 230 (Auckland Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General

General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set
apart for road ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall
take effect on and after the 9th day of July, 1951.

Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the
land described in the Schedule hereto now held for housing purposes
is hereby set apart for defence purposes ; and I do also declare
that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 9th day of
July, 1951.

General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the
land described in the Schedule hereto now held for housing purposes is
hereby set apart for the purposes of the Putaruru – Upper Atiamuri
railway ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take
effect on and after the 9th day of July, 1951.

Waitohu Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act, 1928, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and
declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto
(and which was acquired under the Wellington and Manawatu
Railway Purchase Act, 1908, and is not now required for such
purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand
Gazette, become road, and that such road shall be maintained by
the Main Highways Board in like manner as other public highways
are controlled and maintained by the said Board.
