A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1948.

THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the 6th day of September, 1950, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 7th day of that month, the control of the land described in the Schedule to that document, being a reserve for a site for a war memorial, was vested in certain persons therein named, who were by the said Order in Council constituted a special Board, by the name of the Waikoikoi War Memorial Board, in pursuance of section 17 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928 :
And whereas it is considered desirable that the membership of the said Board should be increased :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 17 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby appoint
Alexander David McCall
to be an additional member of the Waikoikoi War Memorial Board constituted by the Order in Council dated the 6th day of September, 1950, hereinbefore referred to.

THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1948, and section 125 of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the Papatoetoe Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for the whole of its length of less than 66 feet, but not less than 44 feet, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green on the plan marked P.W.D. 133364, referred to in the said Schedule, within a distance of 48 feet from the centre-line of the said street.

THAT proposed street in the North Auckland Land District, Borough of Papatoetoe, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 16 perches, being part Lot 3, D.P. 15886, part Lot 7, D.P. 3156, and part of the land on D.P. 13618, being parts Allotment 37, Parish of Manurowa. THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1948, and section 125 of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the Timaru City Council to lay off the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for the whole of its length of less than 66 feet, but not less than 40 feet, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the proposed street within a distance of 33 feet from the centre-line of the said street.
