PUBLIC TRUST OFFICE

In the matter of the Insurance Companies’ Deposits Act, 1921–22, and its amendments.

WRIGHT, STEPHENSON AND CO., LTD., has given notice to the Public Trustee that it has ceased to arrange for British underwriters to insure live-stock, and it proposes to withdraw the sum deposited by it with the Public Trustee in respect of that class of insurance business.

The Public Trustee therefore gives notice pursuant to section 8 of the above-mentioned Act that, subject to his being satisfied that all of the liabilities in respect of policies or other contracts of insurance of that class so arranged by the said company have been fully liquidated or provided for, he proposes to repay on or after the 8th day of September, 1951, the sum so deposited with him by the said company.

Any objections to the release of the said deposit should be lodged with the Public Trustee at the Public Trust Office, Lambton Quay, Wellington C.1, on or before the 31st day of July, 1951.
