Approval of Application by Gisborne Borough Council for Declaration of a Zone of Parking Restriction
Pursuant to regulation 3 of the Traffic Sign Regulations 1937, as amended by the Traffic Sign Regulations 1937, Amendment No. 1, the Minister of Transport doth hereby approve of the application made by the Gisborne Borough Council for a declaration that the continuous parking of motor-vehicles shall be restricted to a maximum period of sixty minutes for any vehicle between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. in the zone of parking restriction described in the Schedule hereto, and doth revoke the approval given on 22nd day of May, 1951.*
SCHEDULE
All that part of Gladstone Road commencing at its meeting with Derby Street and ending at its meeting with Reads Quay, and all that part of Peel Street commencing at its meeting with Reads Quay and ending with Childers Road. As the said area is more particularly delineated in blue colour on plan No. TT. 1740, deposited in the office of the Commissioner of Transport at Wellington.

Exemption Order Under the Motor-drivers Regulations, 1940
Pursuant to the Motor-drivers Regulations, 1940, the Minister of Transport doth hereby order and declare that the provisions of clause (1) of Regulation 7 of the said Regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:—
A motor-driver's licence issued under the Motor-drivers Regulations, 1940, to the person described in Column 1 of the Schedule hereunder, may authorize him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment on a farm or market garden of the employer described in Column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorize him, while he is under the age of eighteen years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Classification of Streets in Papatoetoe Borough
Pursuant to Regulation 3 (5) of the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations 1950, the Minister of Transport doth hereby alter the Papatoetoe Borough Council's proposed classification of the streets described in the Schedule hereto and situated in the Papatoetoe Borough, and doth hereby approve such altered classification as set out in the said Schedule.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block X, Tauhara Survey District, for the Use, Convenience, or Enjoyment of a Road
Notice is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Taupo and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Approximate area of the piece of land required to be taken: 10·7 perches.
Being part Tauhara Middle No. 4A 1J 1B 1 Block.
Situated in Block X, Tauhara Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 34576.)
In the South Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 134353, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
