Allocating Land Taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Street at Feilding

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Foxton–New Plymouth Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a street:

Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section 226 of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a street, and that the said street shall be under the control of the Feilding Borough Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land:—

2 1 36·7} Parts Railway land in Proclamation 31525, being
2 0 36·2} part Subdivision A, Manchester Block.

Situated in Block XIV, Oroua Survey District, Borough of Feilding. (S.O. 22351.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 10907, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of June, 1951.

Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of Road in Block II, Reefton Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was acquired for the Midland Railway and is not now required for that purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become road and that such road shall be maintained by the Main Highways Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land dealt with: 28·4 perches. Being Railway land.

Situated in Block II, Reefton Survey District (Nelson R.D.). (S.O. 9610.)

In the Nelson Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 133976, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of June, 1951.

Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of Road in Block I, Ngakawau Survey District, Buller County

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for the Westport–Ngakawau Railway and is not now required for that purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Buller County Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land dealt with: 3 roods 36·9 perches.

Being railway land in Proclamations Nos. 29 and 285.

Situated in Block I, Ngakawau Survey District (Nelson R.D.). (S.O. 9633.)

In the Nelson Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 134018, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of June, 1951.

Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work, and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1948.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 19·4 perches.

Being Sections 17 and 18, Block XXXI, on D.P. 8943 of the Hutt Valley Settlement, situated in the City of Lower Hutt and being part of the land described in Certificate of Title, Volume 496, folio 231, Wellington Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of June, 1951.

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1948.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 24·06 perches.

Being Lot 143, D.P. 6845, being part Section 48, Fitzroy District.

Situated in Block V, Paritutu Survey District, and being part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 143, folio 71 (Taranaki Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of June, 1951.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a main highway depot; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 18th day of June, 1951.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 3 acres 2 roods 27·9 perches.

Being part Hamlin's Grant.

Situated in Block II, Otahuhu Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 36095.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 134143, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of June, 1951.
