Lands Reserved Under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), has recommended that the lands described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be scenic reserves under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area situated in Block IV, Takahue Survey District, and Block I, Maungataniwha Survey District, containing by admeasurement a total of 221 acres 3 roods 22 perches, more or less, being Allotments 15, 154, and 156, Kaiaka Parish. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/846A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (North Auckland S.O. plans 19133, 30117, and 31681.)

Section 18, Block VII, Paeroa Survey District: Area, 7 acres and 17 perches, more or less. (South Auckland S.O. plan 34770.)

Reserve 4105, Block III, Halswell Survey District: Area 1 rood 14ยท2 perches, more or less.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of June, 1951.

Revoking the Reservation Over a Scenic Reserve in the Wellington Land District

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for scenic purposes.
And whereas the said land is no longer suitable for scenic purposes by reason of the absence of bush of scenic value thereon:
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 8 of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, do hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SECTION 31, Block XVI, Hautapu Survey District: Area, 17 acres, more or less. (S.O. plan 13696.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of June, 1951.

Land Subject to the Housing Act, 1919, Declared Crown Land Available for Reservation Under the Land Act, 1948

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by subsection (1) of section 8 of the Housing Amendment Act, 1940, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land subject to the Housing Act, 1919, to be Crown land available for reservation under the Land Act, 1948.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area situated in Block IV, Titirangi Survey District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 1 rood 19ยท1 perches, more or less, being Lot 313, as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 37701, and being parts of Allotments 87 and 88 of Section 10, Suburbs of Auckland. (North Auckland S.O. plan 36135.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of June, 1951.
