In the Supreme Court of New Zealand,
Northern District
(Auckland Registry).

In the mater of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of
MANTON STUD, LIMITED, a company duly incorporated
under the Companies Act, 1933, having its registered
office at Auckland.

NOTICE is hereby given that an order of the Supreme Court of
New Zealand, dated the 25th day of May, 1951, confirming the
reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £6,000
to £4,500 and the minute approved by the Court showing with
respect to the capital of the company as altered, the several
particulars required by the above-mentioned Act was registered by
the Registrar of Companies on the 31st day of May, 1951. The
said minute is in the words and figures following :—

“ The capital of MANTON STUD, LIMITED, henceforth is £4,500
divided into 6,000 shares of 15s. each, reduced from the former
capital of £6,000 divided into 6,000 shares of £1 each. At the date
of the registration of this minute all of the said shares of 15s. each
have been issued and are deemed to be fully paid.”

AUCKLAND METROPOLITAN DRAINAGE BOARD

LOAN No. 8, 1951, £32,750

Special Order.

THE Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Board doth hereby, in
exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the
Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act, 1944, and in pursuance of the
authority conferred on it under the Local Bodies’ Finance Act,
1921–22, the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Local Government
Loans Board Act, 1926, and their respective amendments, and in
exercise of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, resolve by
special resolution, intended to operate as a special order, to borrow
the sum of thirty-two thousand seven hundred and fifty pounds
(£32,750) as a special loan to be known as Loan No. 8, 1951, £32,750,
for the purpose of repaying the balance of the Auckland and
Suburban Drainage Board’s Loan, No. 11/2, of £54,000, which was
raised in 1936, and which will fall due for repayment on 1st October,
1951.

The foregoing special order was made by way of a special
resolution passed at a special meeting of the Auckland Metropolitan
Drainage Board convened by requisition of the Chairman, dated
17th day of April, 1951, and held on the 26th day of April, 1951.
It was publicly notified in the New Zealand Herald on the 2nd and
23rd days of May, 1951. It was confirmed at a special meeting of
the Board, convened by resolution of the Board on the 26th day of
April, 1951, and held on the 30th day of May, 1951.

The Common Seal of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage
Board was hereto affixed this 30th day of May, 1951, in the presence

WAIRAKI RABBIT BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Wairaki
Rabbit Board hereby resolves as follows :—

“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan to be called the Housing Loan, 1950, of one
thousand six hundred pounds (£1,600) authorized to be raised by
the Wairaki Rabbit Board under the above-mentioned Act, for
the purpose of purchasing a freehold house for the use of the
Board’s employees, the said Wairaki Rabbit Board hereby makes
and levies a special rate of one farthing (¼d.) an acre on all rateable
property in the Wairaki Rabbit District ; and that such special
rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of
such loan, and be payable by equal half-yearly instalments on the
first day of March and the first day of September in each and every
year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years,
or until the loan is fully paid off.”

CHANGE OF NAME OF COMPANY

NOTICE is hereby given that KEROSENE APPLIANCES COMPANY
(NEW ZEALAND), LIMITED, has changed its name to MILFORD
ENGINEERING COMPANY, LIMITED, and that the new name was this
day entered on my Register of Companies in place of the former
name.
