Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work, and Not Required for That Purpose, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1948.


SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 36·8 perches.

Being Lot 1, D.P. 15181, being portion of Sections 11 and 16, Watts Peninsula District, and being part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 511, folio 187 (Wellington Land Registry).

Situated in the City of Wellington.

PURSUANT to section 207 of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the course of the Waitati River shall be altered or diverted within the area of land described in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE

Those portions of Sections 43 and 44, Block I, North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District.

In the Otago Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 134280, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of May, 1951.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section 47 of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for housing purposes, is hereby set apart for road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 5th day of June, 1951.


SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land set apart: 3 roods 23·75 perches.

Being Lot 4, D.P. 1804, being part Section 207, District of Kaikoura Suburban, situated in Block X, Mount Fyffe Survey District, and being part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 44, folio 247 (Marlborough Land Registry).

Leasehold Estates in Land Taken for the Development of Water-power (Arapuni Scheme) in Block XII, Maungatautari Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land first described in the Schedule hereto, held from His Majesty the King by E. M. Finlayson, Limited, of Palmerston North, under and by virtue of renewable lease No. 1590, Volume 407, folio 87 (Auckland Land Registry), and that the leasehold estate in the land secondly described in the Schedule hereto, held from His Majesty the King by Thomas Spear, of Arapuni, Shop Assistant, under and by virtue of renewable lease No. 1624, Volume 407, folio 196 (Auckland Land Registry), are hereby taken for the development of water-power (Arapuni Scheme).
