At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th day of

Present:
THE HON. W. SULLIVAN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section
44 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act,
1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Murdoch Martin Cameron,
Patrick Sarsfield Dowling,
Henry Clifford Finn,
Brian Patrick Kinney,
Hugh Francis McAuley,
Francis Joseph Prendergast, and
John Ferguson Ramsay
to be the Hyde Domain Board, having control of the land described
in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the
7th day of June, 1951, at 8 o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Hyde
Hall, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section
44 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act,
1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Alexander Braid Burns,
Hans Hansen,
Ronald Gordon Houlbrooke,
Leonard Geoffrey Houlbrooke,
Gordon William Hart,
Charles Edward Malcolm Robbie, and
Alan John Gandy
to be the Tiraumea Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Thursday,
the 24th day of May, 1951, at 8 o'clock p.m., as the time when, and
the Tiraumea Hall, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board
shall be held.

Withdrawing Land From the Operation of the Kauri-gum Industry
Act, 1908

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th day of
May, 1951
Present :
THE HON. W. SULLIVAN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS by section 178 of the Land Act, 1948, it is enacted
that the Governor-General may, by Order in Council, on
the recommendation of the Land Settlement Board, declare that
any land comprised in a Kauri-gum reserve shall, from a date to
be specified in the Order, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum
Industry Act, 1908, and on and after the date so specified the land
to which the Order relates shall become Crown land subject to the
provisions of the Land Act, 1948:
And whereas the Land Settlement Board has recommended that
the Towai No. 1 Kauri-gum Reserve, as described in the Schedule
hereto, be exempted from the operation of the Kauri-gum Industry
Act, 1908, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril
Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred
upon me by section 178 of the Land Act, 1948, and acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the Towai No. 1 Kauri-
gum Reserve, as described in the Schedule hereto, shall, from the
lst day of June, 1951, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry
Act, 1908.
