A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act, 1928, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land
described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the
Land Act, 1948.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land :
1 rood 36·38 perches.
Being Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 15103, being portion of Sections 7 and 8,
Township of Carterton.

Situated in the Borough of Carterton, and being the whole of
the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 350,

the benefit of the drainage rights created by Memorandum of
Transfer No. 158038 (Otago Land Registry), to be Crown land for
the purposes of the Land Act, 1948, together with the benefit of the
said drainage rights.

for Post and Telegraph purposes (postmaster's residence) ; and I do
also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the
28th day of May, 1951.
