PURSUANT to the authority conferred on the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936, the following decisions have been made in respect of applications for licences.

Taxi Owner-drivers’ Association, Ltd., Wellington For reconsideration of the Bureau’s decision of 16th April, 1951, granting a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on proposed premises corner Vivian and Bute Streets, Wellington, so as to permit the sale of motor-spirit from three pumps Granted (conditionally) 30th April, 1951.

Notice to Persons Affected by Applications for Licences Under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936

Pharmacy Industry

S. V. Evans, 20 Sunnybrae Crescent, Westmere, Auckland, has applied for a licence to operate a new pharmacy at Tripoli Road, Panmure, Auckland.

A. D. McIntosh, Marine Parade, Paraparaumu Beach, has applied for a licence to operate a new pharmacy at Main Road, Waikanae.

Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit

G. E. Palmer, 5 Raeburn Street, Te Awamutu, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at 5 Raeburn Street, Te Awamutu.

A. E. Powell and D. Gunn, Main Road, Mangatainoka, Pahiatua, have applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit otherwise than through pumps from a depot on premises at Main Road, Mangatainoka, Pahiatua.

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 24th May, 1951, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.

Notice of Vesting of Land in the Public Trustee Under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II) (Unclaimed Lands)

WHEREAS I, the undersigned, the Public Trustee, have for the purposes of Part II of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (relating to unclaimed lands), made due inquiry with respect to the lands described in the Schedule hereunder and the whereabouts of the owner thereof, and have, in respect of the said lands, given the notices prescribed by section 66 of that Act and have in all respects complied with the provisions of that Act pertinent thereto: And whereas the owner has not established his title to the said lands as required by that Act: I hereby give notice that the said lands are under and by virtue of that Act vested in the Public Trustee as aforesaid as from the date of the publication hereof, and will be administered under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908, the value of the lands for the purposes of section 67 (d) of that Act being less than five hundred pounds (£500).

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land containing 10 acres, more or less, being Allotment 108 in the Parish of Kaiwaka, County of Marsden (now Whangarei): Bounded on the north by a line 1335 links, on the north-east by a road 100 links wide 750 links, on the south by Allotment 109 in the said Parish, 1660 links, and on the west by a line 663 links; and being the whole of the land comprised in an unregistered Crown Grant to John Horner, of Te Arai, farmer.
