The Servicemen’s Settlement Act, 1950.—Notice Declaring Land Taken for Settlement of Discharged Servicemen


WHEREAS an application has been made for the consent of the Land Valuation Court to a transaction which relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto, and to which Part II of the Servicemen’s Settlement Act, 1950, applies :

And whereas the purchaser of the said land is neither a discharged serviceman nor a child or grandchild of the vendor :

And whereas the Land Valuation Committee to which the said application was referred, not being satisfied that the Crown had decided not to acquire or arrange for the acquisition of the said land, did on the 10th day of April, 1951, adjourn the said application :

Now, therefore, the Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of section 31 of the said Act, doth hereby declare that the said land is taken for the settlement of discharged servicemen, and hereby specifies the 1st day of June, 1951, as the date on which the said land shall be deemed to be vested in His Majesty the King.


SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that parcel of land situated in Block VII, Takahue Survey District, containing by admeasurement four (4) acres thirty-six (36) perches, more or less, being all of the land on Deposited Plan 11608, being part of Te Konoti B No. 5 No. 4A No. 1 Block, and being all of the land described in Certificate of Title, Volume 278, folio 58 (Auckland Registry).

Also all that parcel of land situated in Block VII, Takahue Survey District, containing by admeasurement ten (10) acres, more or less, being all of the land on Deposited Plan 11263, being part of Te Konoti B No. 5 No. 4A No. 2 Block, and being all of the land described in Certificate of Title, Volume 277, folio 23 (Auckland Registry).

Also all that parcel of land situated in Block VII, Takahue Survey District, containing by admeasurement forty-four (44) acres two (2) roods thirty-five (35) perches, more or less, being part of Te Konoti B No. 5 No. 4B No. 1 Block, and being all of the land described in Certificate of Title, Volume 823, folio 286 (Auckland Registry).

Also all that parcel of land situated in Block VII, Takahue Survey District, containing by admeasurement eight (8) acres one (1) rood seventeen decimal two (17·2) perches, more or less, being part of Te Konoti B No. 5 No. 1 Block, and being all of the land described in Certificate of Title, Volume 338, folio 111 (Auckland Registry).

Also all that parcel of land situated in Block VII, Takahue Survey District, containing by admeasurement twelve (12) acres twenty (20) perches, more or less, being parts of Te Konoti B No. 4B No. 2B and Te Konoti B No. 4B No. 2C Blocks, and being all of the land described in Certificate of Title, Volume 375, folio 296 (Auckland Registry).

Also all that parcel of land situated in Block VII, Takahue Survey District, containing by admeasurement eleven (11) acres one (1) rood twenty-nine (29) perches, more or less, being Te Konoti B No. 5 No. 2 Block, and being all of the land described in Certificate of Title, Volume 233, folio 195 (Auckland Registry).

Also all that parcel of land situated in Block VII, Takahue Survey District, containing by admeasurement one hundred and nineteen (119) acres three (3) roods twenty-one (21) perches, more or less, being Te Konoti B No. 5 No. 3A Block, and parts of Te Konoti B No. 4B No. 1B, Te Konoti B No. 4B No. 2B, Te Konoti B No. 4B No. 2A, and Te Konoti B No. 4B No. 2C Blocks, and being all of the land described in Certificate of Title, Volume 483, folio 4 (Auckland Registry).

Also all those parcels of land situated in Block VII, Takahue Survey District, together containing by admeasurement three (3) acres eleven decimal eight (11·8) perches, more or less, being all of the land on Deposited Plan 13217, being part of Te Konoti B No. 5 No. 1 Block, and being all of the land described in Certificate of Title, Volume 338, folio 110 (Auckland Registry).

Also all that parcel of land situated in Block XV, Onewhero Survey District, containing by admeasurement one hundred and forty-four (144) acres, more or less, being Lot 41 of No. 5A, Opuatia Parish, and being all of the land described in Certificate of Title, Volume 215, folio 279 (Auckland Registry).

Also all those parcels of land situated in Blocks XI and XV, Onewhero Survey District, together containing by admeasurement one hundred and twenty-two (122) acres two (2) roods thirty decimal seven (30·7) perches, more or less, being part of the land on Deposited Plan 8907, being part of Opuatia No. 4 Lot 44 Block, and part of Lot 1 on Deposited Plan 26780, being part of Opuatia No. 4 Lot 44 Block, and being the balance of the land described in Certificate of Title, Volume 237, folio 223 (Auckland Registry).
