have been duly elected to be members of the Woodville Bobby Calf Pool Committee established by the said regulations.

Plants Declared to be Noxious Weeds in the Borough of Mount Eden.—(Notice No. Ag. 5012)

THE following special order, made by the Mount Eden Borough Council on the 23rd day of April, 1951, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1950.


SPECIAL ORDER

In exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1950, the Mount Eden Borough Council hereby declares, by way of special order, that all the plants mentioned or included in the First Schedule to the Noxious Weeds Act, 1950, are noxious weeds within the Borough of Mount Eden.

Taumarunui Abattoir District Extended.—(Notice No. Ag. 5013)

Wellington, 7th May, 1951.

PURSUANT to section 15 (7) of the Meat Act, 1939, notice is hereby given that—

(1) By agreement dated the 30th day of March, 1951, made between the Taumarunui Borough Council, the Manunui Town Board, and the Kaitieke County Council, the abattoir established and maintained by the said Borough Council has been made available for the district of the said Town Board and part of the district of the said County Council as from the 1st day of April, 1951 ;

(2) The Taumarunui Abattoir District as affected by the said agreement shall comprise all that area described in the Schedule hereto ; and

(3) The Taumarunui Borough Council shall be the controlling authority of the said abattoir for the purposes of the Taumarunui Abattoir District described in the said Schedule.


SCHEDULE

DESCRIPTION of Taumarunui Abattoir District :—

All that area for the time being comprised in the Borough of Taumarunui and all that area comprising the Town District of Manunui and part of the Kaitieke County, commencing at the junction of the Ongarue and Wanganui Rivers on the Kaitieke County boundary; thence generally in a south-easterly direction along the Wanganui River to the junction with the Whakapapa River; thence generally in a southerly direction along the Whakapapa River to the southern boundary of Block IV of the Kaitieke Survey District; thence generally in westerly and northerly directions respectively along the southern and western boundaries of Block IV, Kaitieke Survey District, to the southern corner of Block X, Hunua Survey District; thence generally in a westerly direction along the southern boundaries of Blocks X and IX of the Hunua Survey District to the Kaitieke County boundary; thence generally in a north-westerly direction along the County boundary to the Wanganui River; thence generally in a north-easterly direction along the Wanganui River (Kaitieke County boundary) to the commencing point.

Administration of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1950, in Wanganui County.—(Notice No. Ag. 5014)

THE following resolution, passed by the Wanganui County Council on the 13th day of April, 1951, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1950.


RESOLUTION

THAT, in pursuance of section 22 (1) of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1950, the Council agrees to assume responsibility for the administration of the Noxious Weeds Act as from the 1st May, 1951.

Exemptions Under the Import Control Regulations 1938

PURSUANT to clause 15 of the Import Control Regulations 1938, it is hereby notified for public information that goods of the classes specified in the First Schedule hereto imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country other than the countries mentioned in the Second Schedule hereto shall be exempt from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.
