✨ Electric-power Board Licences




  1. LICENCE SUBJEC'T TO REGULATIONS

The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively: Provided that the licensee shall not by virtue of this clause be required, except in the normal course of alteration, repair, or maintenance, to reconstruct in conformity with the regulations hereinbefore mentioned any existing electric lines or works which conformed to the regulations in force at the time of the construction thereof.

  1. SYSTEM OF SUPPLY

Bulk supply at a nominal pressure of 11,000 volts between phases shall be received from the State Hydro-electric Department's substation at Hangatiki, or from such other additional point or points of supply as may be mutually arranged between the Minister in Charge of the State Hydro-electric Department and the licensee.

The system of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), and (f) of clause 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935. The primary distribution voltage shall be 11,000 volts.

  1. DURATION OF LICENCE

Unless sooner lawfully determined, this licence shall continue in force until the 6th day of May, 1968.

FIRST SCHEDULE

LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described within the Waitomo Electric-power District, as defined in the Schedule to the Proclamation dated the 21st day of August, 1950, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 24th day of the same month, at page 1616.

SECOND SCHEDULE

ORDERS IN COUNCIL REVOKED

THE Order in Council dated the 6th day of May, 1926, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 13th day of the same month at page 1273, authorizing the licensee to construct electric works.

The Order in Council dated the 6th day of May, 1926, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 13th day of the same month at page 1282, authorizing the licensee to use certain electric lines.

The Order in Council dated the 2nd day of June, 1939, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 8th day of the same month at page 1724, authorizing the licensee to construct, maintain, and use certain electric lines.

Authorizing the Hawke's Bay Electric-power Board to Erect and Use Electric Lines Within the Hawke's Bay Electric-power District and Revoking Existing Orders in Council

Present :

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the Hawke's Bay Electric-power Board (hereinafter with its successors and assigns referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the First Schedule hereto; and further, for the purposes of section 76 of the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, subject to the said conditions, doth hereby authorize the licensee to construct the said electric works; and further, doth hereby revoke the Orders in Council referred to in the Second Schedule hereto.

CONDITIONS

  1. IMPLIED CONDITIONS

THE conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.

  1. LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS

The system of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (d), (e), and (f) of clause 21–01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935. The primary distribution voltage shall be 11,000 volts between phases.

  1. DURATION OF LICENCE

This licence shall, unless sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 2nd day of March, 1967.

FIRST SCHEDULE

Lines for the supply of electrical energy by the systems of supply hereinbefore described within the Hawke's Bay Electric-power District as described in the Third Schedule to the Proclamation dated the 22nd day of November, 1948, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 30th day of the same month at page 1451.

Authorizing the Thames Valley Electric-power Board to Erect and Use Electric Lines in the Borough of Thames

  1. PURPOSE OF LINES

The lines hereby authorized shall not be used by the licensee for the purpose of supply to retail consumers in the Borough of Thames.

SCHEDULE

Electric lines for the transmission of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described within the Borough of Thames as at present constituted, the electric lines now proposed to be erected and used being shown by means of a red line on the plan marked S.H.D. 139, deposited in the Office of the Minister in Charge of the State Hydro-electric Department.
