ALL that area containing by admeasurement 117 acres, more or less, being Part of Reserve 1685 (Provisional State Forest, Gazette, 1910, page 1285), Block VII, Bruce Bay Survey District, bounded as follows: Commencing at the south-eastern corner of Section 780; thence in a northerly direction along the north-eastern boundary of the said section produced to the sea-coast; thence generally in a north-easterly direction along the said sea-coast to Big Rock Creek; thence along the right bank of the said creek to the Manakaua River; thence generally in a south-easterly direction along the left bank of the said river to the west side of Hunts Beach Road; thence by the said roadside to the south-eastern boundary of Section 2650; thence generally south-westerly along the boundary of the said section to the northern boundary of Reserve No. 1685 (State Forest, Gazette, 1933, page 8); thence by the said boundary to the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 10/98/119, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work, and Not Required for That Purpose, to be Crown Land Subject as to Part to a Drainage Easement

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 24th day of November, 1950, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 72 of the 30th day of the same month, at page 2029, declaring land acquired for a Government work, and not required for that purpose, to be Crown land subject as to part to a drainage easement, in so far as it affects the piece of land described in the Schedule hereto.
