Proclaiming Maori Land to be Vested in His Majesty the King

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 450 of the Maori Land Act, 1931, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and
declare that the Maori land described in the Schedule hereto is
vested in His Majesty the King.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land in the Waikato-Maniapoto Maori Land Court
District, Auckland Land District, containing 125 acres 2 roods
24 perches, more or less, situated in Block XVI of the Opaheke
Survey District, called or known as Lot 39A, Parish of Koheroa, and
being the whole of the land comprised in a Partition Order of the
Maori Land Court dated 28th February, 1917.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 4th day of May, 1951.

Declaring Certain Crown Land to be Subject to Part I of the Maori
Land Amendment Act, 1936 (Hauraki Development Scheme)

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 5 of the Maori Purposes Act, 1939, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the
Crown land described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I
of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land in the Waikato-Maniapoto Maori Land Court
District, Auckland Land District, containing 125 acres 2 roods
24 perches, more or less, situated in Block XVI of the Opaheke

Land Subject to the Housing Act, 1919, Declared Crown Land
Available for Reservation Under the Land Act, 1948

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred
upon me by subsection (1) of section 8 of the Housing Amend-
ment Act, 1940, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg,
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto,
being land subject to the Housing Act, 1919, to be Crown land
available for reservation under the Land Act, 1948.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area situated in Block XIV, Belmont Survey District,
containing by admeasurement 1 rood 2·97 perches, more or less,
being Lot 77 on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at
Wellington under No. 15098, being part Section 9s, Waddington
Settlement, and being part of the land comprised and described in
Certificate of Title, Volume 417, folio 262 (Wellington Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of May, 1951.

Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be Subject to
the Land Act, 1948

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act, 1949,
I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the joint
recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of
Forests, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in
the Schedule hereto, being portion of a provisional State forest
reserve set apart by Proclamation dated the 29th day of April, 1919,
and gazetted on the 8th day of May of that year, is required for
settlement purposes ; and, in accordance with the provisions of the
said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting
hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land, and shall become
Crown land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition
under the provisions of the Land Act, 1948.
