FIRST SCHEDULE

AREA EXCLUDED FROM THE COUNTY OF EYRE AND INCLUDED IN
THE BOROUGH OF KAIAPOI

ALL that area in the Eyreton Riding of the Eyre County, Canterbury
Land District, containing 78 acres 3 roods, more or less, and bounded
as follows: Commencing at a point on the south side of the Ohoka
Road in line with the western boundary of Lot 3, Deposit Plan 2126,
at the south-western corner of the Borough of Kaiapoi; thence in
a northerly direction along the western boundary of the Borough
of Kaiapoi to the northern side of the said Ohoka Road; thence
westerly along the northern side of Ohoka Road to a point in line
with the middle of the road (Coupes Road) forming the western
boundary of Rural Section 321; thence southerly to and along the
middle of that road to a point 250 links distant from the southern
side of Ohoka Road; thence easterly by a right line parallel to and
250 links distant from the southern side of Ohoka Road and that
line continued to the middle of Cemetery Road; thence south-
easterly generally along the middle of that road and the Main North
Road to a point in line with the southern boundary of the land in
Certificate of Title, Volume 394, folio 87; thence easterly to and
along that boundary and the southern boundary of the land in
Certificate of Title, Volume 394, folio 92, to the left bank of the
Kaikainui Stream and easterly along the left bank of that stream to
the western boundary of the Railway Reserve (Kaiapoi Station
Yard); thence northerly along the western boundary of that Railway
Reserve and the western side of the road along the western boundary
of the said Railway Reserve to the southern side of Ohoka Road,
being the boundary of the Borough of Kaiapoi; thence westerly
along the southern side of that road to the point of commencement.

SECOND SCHEDULE

AREAS EXCLUDED FROM THE COUNTY OF RANGIORA AND INCLUDED
IN THE BOROUGH OF KAIAPOI

ALL that area in the Rangiora Riding of the Rangiora County,
Canterbury Land District, containing 18 acres, more or less, and
bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on the western side of
the Main North Road at the northern boundary of the Borough of
Kaiapoi; thence in a southerly direction along the western side of
the Main North Road to the southern side of Smith Street; thence
easterly across the Main North Road and along the southern side of
Beach Road to a point in line with the eastern side of the road which
forms the western boundary of Lot 2, Deposit Plan 8519, deposited
in the office of the District Land Registrar at Christchurch; thence
by a right line to the middle of Beach Road; thence westerly along
the middle of Beach Road to a point in line with the eastern boundary
of the land in Certificate of Title, Volume 394, folio 81; thence to
and along that boundary and westerly along the northern boundary
of the land in said title to a point 250 links from the eastern side of
the Main North Road; thence in a northerly direction by a line
parallel to and 250 links easterly from the eastern side of the Main
North Road to the southern side of the land in Certificate of Title,
Volume 177, folio 100, thence easterly and northerly along the
southern and eastern boundaries of the land in that certificate of
title to the southern boundary of Lot 9, Deposit Plan 1257; thence
easterly and northerly along the southern and eastern boundaries
of the said Lot 9, and northerly along the eastern boundaries of Lots
8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 of the said Deposit Plan 1257, and northerly
and westerly along the eastern and northern boundaries of the land
in Certificate of Title, Volume 183, folio 285, to the eastern side of the
Main North Road; thence westerly to the middle of the said Main
North Road; thence northerly along the middle of that road to a
point opposite the northern boundary of the Borough of Kaiapoi;
thence westerly to the western side of the said Main North Road,
the point of commencement.

Also all that area in the Rangiora Riding of the Rangiora County,
Canterbury Land District, containing 2 acres, more or less, being
the eastern half of Revells Road and the southern half of Cam Road
and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point at the intersection
of the eastern side of Revells Road with the north branch of the
Waimakariri River on the boundary of the Borough of Kaiapoi,
thence north-westerly along the left bank of the said North Branch
of the Waimakariri River to a point in line with the middle of Revells
Road; thence northerly along the middle of Revells Road to a
point in line with the middle of Cam Road; thence easterly along
the middle of Cam Road and its continuation across the Cam River
to the left bank of that river at the boundary of the Borough of
Kaiapoi; thence south-westerly along that left bank to a point in
line with the southern side of the said Cam Road; thence to and
along the southern side of that road and the eastern side of Revells
Road, being the boundary of the Borough of Kaiapoi, to the left
bank of the aforesaid north branch of the Waimakariri River, the
point of commencement.

THIRD SCHEDULE

AREA EXCLUDED FROM THE BOROUGH OF KAIAPOI AND INCLUDED
IN THE COUNTY OF EYRE

ALL that area in the Borough of Kaiapoi of the Canterbury Land
District containing 46 acres 1 rood, more or less, and bounded as
follows: Commencing at a point on the existing boundary of the
Borough of Kaiapoi in the middle of Charters Street in line with the
southern side of Ohoka Road; thence generally easterly along the
middle of the said Charters Street to the left bank of the south
branch of the Waimakariri River, which forms the eastern boundary
of Rural Section 36687; thence generally northerly along the left
bank of that river passing through Rural Section 364, across Raven
Quay, and continuing to where it meets the north branch of the
Waimakariri River; thence by a line due north across that river to
its left bank; thence generally easterly along the left bank of that river
to the existing Borough boundary; thence across the said north
branch of the Waimakariri River following the existing Borough
boundary along the northern side of Rural Section 36615, across the
aforesaid south branch of the Waimakariri River, to and generally
westerly along the southern side of Charters Street aforesaid to a
point in line with the southern side of Ohoka Road; thence to the
middle of Charters Street, the point of commencement.

FOURTH SCHEDULE

AREA EXCLUDED FROM THE BOROUGH OF KAIAPOI AND INCLUDED
IN THE COUNTY OF RANGIORA

ALL that area in the Borough of Kaiapoi of the Canterbury Land
District containing 143 acres 1 rood 3 perches, more or less, and
bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on the Borough bound-
ary on the left bank of the north branch of the Waimakariri River,
the same point being 250 links easterly from a line in continuation
of the eastern boundary of Commercial Street; thence in a northerly
direction by a line parallel to and distant 250 links from the said
Commercial Street to a point in line with the northern side of Cass
Street; thence westerly 250 links on that line to Commercial Street
aforesaid; thence northerly along the eastern side of Feldwicks
Drain (through R.S. 320) and its continuation to the middle of Beach
Road; thence westerly along the middle of said Beach Road to the
Borough boundary where it crosses Beach Road in line with the
eastern side of the road forming the western boundary of Lot 2, D.P.
8519; thence northerly, easterly, southerly, and westerly along the
existing Borough boundary to the point of commencement.

Altering the Boundaries of the Hauraki Catchment District

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 24th day of
April, 1951

Present:

THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act,
1941, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion
New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby alter the
boundaries of the Hauraki Catchment District by the exclusion
therefrom of the areas described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

ALL those areas in the South Auckland Land District comprising
all that portion of the Borough of Putaruru lying south-west of the
Auckland-Rotorua railway-line.

Also all that portion of the County of Matamata adjacent to
Putaruru, bounded as follows: Commencing at the point of inter-
section of the Auckland-Rotorua railway-line with the north-
western boundary of the Borough of Putaruru, proceeding north-
westcrly along the north-eastern side of Overdale Road, across the
said road at right angles opposite the north-eastern corner of
Lot 1, D.P. 15119, of Section 4, Block VI, Patatere Survey District;
thence westerly along the northern, and southerly along the western,
boundaries of the said Lot 1, along the north-western boundaries
of Lot 1, D.P. 20533, Lots 2 and 1, D.P. 24295, of Section 11,
Block VI, Patatere Survey District; thence southerly along the
western boundary of the said Lot 1, D.P. 24295, to the south-western
corner of part Lot 4, D.P. 21469; thence easterly along the northern
side of the Putaruru-Arapuni Main Highway to the point where the
said highway enters the Borough of Putaruru; thence north-westerly,
north-easterly, northerly, again north-easterly along the western
boundary of the Borough of Putaruru to the point of commencement.

Authorizing the Laying-off of Streets off Simla Avenue, in the
Havelock North Town District, Subject to Conditions as to the
Building-line

May, 1951

Present:

THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations
Amendment Act, 1948, and section 125 of the Public Works
Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the Havelock North
Town Board to permit the laying-off of the proposed street first
described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length
of less than 66 feet, but not less than 50 feet, and of the proposed
street secondly described in the Schedule hereto at a width for
part of its length of less than 66 feet, but not less than 40 feet,
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall
at any time be erected on the land shown edged green on the plan
marked P.W.D. 132676, referred to in the said Schedule, within
a distance of 48 feet from the centre-lines of the said streets.

Appointment to Public Service Board of Appeal

me by the Public Service Amendment Act, 1927, I, Bernard
Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby appoint

James Sugden Hanna, Esquire, Stipendiary Magistrate,

to be a member of the Board of Appeal appointed for a period of three
years from the 1st day of May, 1951.

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act, 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that
the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and
after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.

SCHEDULE

ALL that portion of road in the Wellington Land District, Wairarapa
County, commencing from the western end of Seafield Road and
extending westerly direction for a distance of 19 chains, and 254, Right Bank
a and 254, Right Bank
