Domain Board Appointed to Have Control of the Oneroa Domain

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 24th day of April, 1951

Present:

THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section 44 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

George Evelyn Adams,
Kenneth John Downey,
George Dyson,
Athol Huntly McKay,
Harry Mellor,
Frederick Charles Muir,
Ivan Rolfe,
William Thompson, and
Raymond Alexander Claude Wright

to be the Oneroa Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the 5th day of May, 1951, at 10 o’clock a.m., as the time when, and the Ascot Theatre, Oneroa, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—ONEROA DOMAIN

ALL that area situated in Block I, Waiheke Survey District, containing by admeasurement 9 acres 1 rood 6·7 perches, more or less, being Lot 237, as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 22848, being part of Te Huruhi Nos. 5D and 5F 1 Blocks.

Recreation Reserve in North Auckland Land District Brought Under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 24th day of April, 1951

Present:

THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by section 34 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the North Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter be known as the Oneroa Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.

ALL that area situated in Block IV, Otahuhu Survey District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres and 30 perches, more or less, being Lot 83, as shown on a plan deposited in Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 36704, and being part of Allotment 69, Parish of Pakuranga. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/906B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Revoking the Reservation Over Portion of the Kohukohu Domain, North Auckland Land District

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 24th day of April, 1951

Present:

THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS a notice of intention to issue an Order in Council declaring that the portion of the Kohukohu Domain, described in the Schedule hereto, shall cease to be subject to Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, and shall be deemed to be Crown land available for disposal by way of sale for cash under the Land Act, 1948, was published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 16th day of March, 1950 :

And whereas such notice of intention was duly laid before both Houses of Parliament in accordance with the provisions of subsection (2) of section 7 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928 :

And whereas the Legislative Council and the House of Representatives, by resolutions dated the 29th day of November, 1950, approved the proposed revocation as aforesaid :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by subsection (1) of section 41 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the portion of the Kohukohu Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to Part II of the said Act, and shall be Crown land available for disposal by way of sale for cash under the Land Act, 1948.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection (1) (b) of section 7 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for a courthouse over the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1948.
