A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed : 1 acre 3 roods 39 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Allotment 80, and part Allotments E. 88, S.W. 89, and 144, Parish of Maungatapere.

Situated in Block IV, Tangihua Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 22125.)

In the North Auckland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 133896, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the public work for which it was taken.
