A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section 15 of the Forests Act, 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for State forest purposes (residence); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 30th day of April, 1951.

Land Taken in Connection With Street Widening in the City of Wellington

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken in connection with street widening and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date hereinafter mentioned ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 30th day of April, 1951.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 1 rood 1·92 perches. Being part of Section 456, Town of Wellington.

Situated in Block VI, Port Nicholson Survey District. (S.O. 21925).

In the Wellington Land District, as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 133701, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of April, 1951.
