Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work, and Not Required for That Purpose, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act, 1948.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 5 acres 1 rood 6·68 perches.
Being Lots 103 to 123, inclusive, D.P. 6967, being part Sections 36, 39, and 40, Block VI, Town District, and part Section 1, Block XV, Dunedin and East Taieri District, and being part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title; Volume 339, folio 237 (Otago Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of April, 1951.

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1948.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 28·65 perches.
Being Lot 136, D.P. 6967, being part Section 1, Block XV, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District, situated in the City of Dunedin, and being part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 339, folio 237 (Otago Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of April, 1951.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for buildings of the General Government; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 30th day of April, 1951.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 31·8 perches.
Being part Section 7, Block IV, Rangaroa Village Settlement.
Situated in Block I, Piopiotea Survey District (Borough of Taumarunui) (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 35138.)

In the South Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 133881, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of April, 1951.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a post-office; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 30th day of April, 1951.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 27·54 perches.
Situated in Block V, Kaitawa Survey District, being part of Ngarara West A, Subdivision 14c, and being also Lot 63, D.P. 6570, being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 491, folio 117 (Wellington Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of April, 1951.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 30th day of April, 1951.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 5 acres 2 roods 16·6 perches.
Situated in the Borough of Mount Roskill and being Lots 1, 2, 4, and 5, D.P. 37418, being part Allotments 4A and 6, Section 13, Suburbs of Auckland, being part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 804, folio 136, and the balance of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 694, folio 93 (Auckland Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of April, 1951.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 acres 3 roods 20·2 perches.
Being Lots 2–14 (both inclusive), D.P. 36389, being part Allotment 47, Parish of Tahawai, and being part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 817, folio 252 (Auckland Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of April, 1951.
