Domain Board Appointed to Have Control of the Ellesmere Domain

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of April, 1951
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section 44 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Harry Hugh Heslop,
William John Lemon,
Albert James Sheat,
Robert Thomas McMillan, and
Horace Glenmore Chamberlain
to be the Ellesmere Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the 20th day of April, 1951, at 2.30 o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Ellesmere A. and P. Rooms, Leeston, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

Cancelling the Vesting of a Reserve in the Kaitieke County Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of April, 1951
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve for a site for a public cemetery, and is vested, in trust, in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Kaitieke:
And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Kaitieke County Council has duly consented to such cancellation:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection (1) of section 10 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Kaitieke of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Vesting a Reserve in the Dannevirke Borough Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of April, 1951
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart for a reserve for a rubbish dump:
And whereas in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Dannevirke:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Dannevirke, in trust, for a rubbish dump.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart for a reserve for hospital purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Buller Hospital Board:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Buller Hospital Board, in trust, for hospital purposes.

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Roxburgh in trust, for plantation purposes.
