IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section 44 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

John McKenzie Morgan,
Frank Cuthbert Morgan,
John William James Pauley,
John Alexander Harley,
Frank Mortimer Pyle,
Herbert William Waldron, and
Michael Webb

to be the St. Bathans Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the 24th day of January, 1951, at 8 o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Public Hall, St. Bathans, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

Foreshore Licence: Barge Landing—Tokatoka—Kaipara Harbour—Hugh Sutherland Valentine

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act, 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby license and permit Hugh Sutherland Valentine (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his executors, administrators, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore at Tokatoka in Kaipara Harbour, as shown on plan marked M.D. 7521 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining a barge landing thereon as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

  2. The premium payable by the licensee shall be one pound (£1) and the annual sum so payable shall be two pounds (£2).

  3. The term of the licence shall be fourteen years from the 1st day of January, 1951.

  4. The Master of every vessel discharging ballast at the said barge landing shall have all such ballast taken away and deposited above high-water mark, or at such place as may be approved by the Minister or by any person appointed by the Minister for that purpose.

Regular Force—

Captain (temp. Major) R. H. F. Holloway relinquishes the temporary rank of Major. Dated 18th December, 1950.

Lieutenant (temp. Captain) R. H. Smith to be Captain. Dated 12th December, 1950.

Territorial Force—

Lieutenant A. E. Rowe, 1st Field Regiment, R.N.Z.A., is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Regimental List, 1st Field Regiment, R.N.Z.A., with the rank of Lieutenant, with seniority from 30th July, 1947. Dated 1st December, 1950.

Lieutenant C. L. Pring, 1st Field Regiment, R.N.Z.A., is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Regimental List, 1st Field Regiment, R.N.Z.A., with the rank of Lieutenant, with seniority from 2nd July, 1948. Dated 1st December, 1950.

Lieutenant N. P. Coleman, 13th Composite Anti-Aircraft Regiment, R.N.Z.A., is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Regimental List, 13th Composite Anti-Aircraft Regiment, R.N.Z.A., with the rank of Lieutenant, with seniority from 1st July, 1948. Dated 30th November, 1950.
