ARAWA NO. 1 TRIBAL DISTRICT
Pukehina Tribal Committee Area
ALL that area bounded by a line commencing at the middle of the entrance of the Waihi Estuary; thence proceeding south-easterly to and along the sea-coast to the northernmost corner of Pukehina No. M4 B1 Block; thence southerly along a right line to the middle of the roadway forming the western boundary of Lot 2 on the plan numbered 13994, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, at its intersection with a right line between the north-eastern corner of Section 2, Block XI, Waihi South Survey District and Trig. Station 1039 (Otanewainuku) in Block XVI, Otanewainuku Survey District; thence westerly along the last-mentioned right line to its intersection with the production of a right line between the confluence of the Kaikokopu and the Mangatoetoe Stream and Trig. Station K in Block XII, Maketu Survey District; thence northerly to and along the last-mentioned right line to the confluence of the Kaikokopu River and the Mangatoetoe Stream; thence north-easterly generally down the middle of the Kaikokopu River and the Waihi Estuary to the point of commencement.
Otamarakau Tribal Committee Area
ALL that area bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost corner of Pukehina No. M4 B1 Block in Block I, Waihi South Survey District; thence proceeding south-easterly along the sea-coast to a point due north of Trig. Station J in Block IV, Waihi South Survey District; thence southerly along a right line to Trig. Station J and a right line to the north-eastern corner of Section 2, Block XI, Waihi South Survey District; thence westerly along a right line in the direction of Trig. Station 1039 (Otanewainuku) in Block XVI, Otanewainuku Survey District, to its intersection with the middle of the roadway forming the western boundary of Lot 2 on the plan numbered 13994, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland; thence northerly along a right line to the northernmost corner of Pukehina No. M4 B1 Block, the point of commencement.

THE following Special Order made by the Waikato County Council on the 20th day of February, 1951, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1950 :—
SPECIAL ORDER
IN exercise of the powers conferred on it by the Noxious Weeds Act, 1950, the Waikato County Council hereby resolves and declares, by way of special order, as follows :—
“ 1. That the undermentioned plants are noxious weeds within the County of Waikato :—
“ Blackberry (Rubus fruticosus and Rubus laciniatus).
“ Californian thistle, Canadian thistle, or creeping thistle (Cirsium arvense).
“ Common broom (Cytisus scoparius).
“ Foxglove (Digitalis purpurea).
“ Gorse (Ulex, any species).
“ Hemlock (Conium maculatum).
“ Milk thistle or variegated thistle (Silybum marianum).
“ Mountain hypericum (Hypericum montanum).
“ Pussy willow (Salix discolor).
“ Ragwort (Senecio jacobaea).
“ St. John’s wort (Hypericum perforatum).
“ Sweetbriar (Rosa eglanteria syn. Rosa rubiginosa).
“ Tutsan (Hypericum androsaemum).
“ Water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes).
“ Winged thistle (Carduus tenuiflorus and Carduus pycnocephalus).
“ 2. That all previous declarations are hereby revoked.
“ 3. That this Special Order shall come into force on the 1st day of April, 1951.”

THE following Special Order made by the Levin Borough Council on the 5th day of March, 1951, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1950.
SPECIAL ORDER
THAT the Levin Borough Council, pursuant to the provisions of section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1950, and of all other Acts and powers enabling it in that behalf, doth hereby resolve by way of Special Order :—
“ (a) That the following plants mentioned or included in the First Schedule to the Noxious Weeds Act, 1950, be and are hereby declared to be noxious weeds within the Borough of Levin, i.e. :—
“ Bindweed (Convolvulus arvensis).
“ Blackberry (Rubus fruticosus and Rubus laciniatus).
“ Californian thistle, Canadian thistle, or creeping thistle (Cirsium arvense).
“ Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare).
“ Gorse (Ulex, any species).
“ Greater bindweed (Calystegia sepium).
“ Hemlock (Conium maculatum).
“ Lupin (Lupinus arboreus).
“ Ragwort (Senecio jacobaea).
“ St John’s wort (Hypericum perforatum).
“ Silver poplar (Populus alba var. nivea).
“ Sweetbrier (Rosa eglanteria syn. Rosa rubiginosa).
“ Wild turnip (Brassica campestris).
“ Winged thistle (Carduus tenuiflorus and Carduus pycnocephalus).
“ (b) That such declaration shall come into force and take effect as from the 1st day of April, 1951.”
