P URSUANT to section 14 of the Maori Social and Economic Advancement Act, 1945, I, Ernest Bowyer Corbett, Minister of Maori Affairs, do hereby vary the notice dated the 21st day of February, 1948, and published in the New Zealand Gazette at page 223, declaring the parts of the Arawa No. 1 Tribal District to be tribal committee areas for the purposes of the said Act, by deleting the description of the Pukehina-Otamarakau Tribal Committee Area and substituting therefor the descriptions appearing in the Schedule hereto.
