Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Block IX, Rangitoto Survey District, North Auckland Land District

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 13th day of March, 1951

Present :

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve for a hall site :

And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for a kindergarten site :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection (1) (a) of section 7 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for a hall site to a reserve for a kindergarten site.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area situated in Block IX, Rangitoto Survey District, containing by admeasurement 37·4 perches, more or less, being Lot 715 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 18161, and being part Allotment 17 of the District of Tamaki. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/981, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve for municipal purposes :

And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for a kindergarten site :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection (1) (a) of section 7 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for municipal purposes to a reserve for a kindergarten site.

And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservations over such lands shall be changed to reserves for access-way purposes :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection (1) (a) of section 7 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reserves described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from reserves for plantation purposes to reserves for access-way purposes.

Vesting the Control of a Reserve in the Auckland Kindergarten Association (Incorporated)

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 13th day of March, 1951

Present :

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for a kindergarten site :

And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be vested in the Auckland Kindergarten Association (Incorporated) :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section 17 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby constitute the Auckland Kindergarten Association (Incorporated) a special Board (hereinafter referred to as the Board) for the purpose of controlling and managing the reserve described in the Schedule hereto as a kindergarten site; and doth hereby vest the control and management of the said reserve in the Board, which shall hold the said reserve in trust for the purposes of a kindergarten site subject to the condition that :—

The Board shall have prepared and submitted at an annual meeting to be held in the month of April in each year a report of the proceedings of the Board for the previous year ending on the 31st day of March, together with a statement of the receipts and expenditure of the Board for such year. A copy of every such report and statement, certified by the Board to be correct, shall be sent to the Minister of Lands as soon as possible after each annual meeting.
