Authorizing the Waitara Borough Council to Erect Electric Lines Within Portion of the Clifton County

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 6th day of March, 1951

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the Waitara Borough Council (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.

CONDITIONS

  1. IMPLIED CONDITIONS

THE conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.

  1. LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS

In respect of the lines hereby authorized, the licensee shall comply with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.

  1. SYSTEM OF SUPPLY

The system of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a) and (f) of clause 21–01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935. The primary distribution voltage shall be 11,000 volts.

  1. DURATION OF LICENCE

This licence shall, unless sooner determined, continue in force until the 7th day of January, 1967.

SCHEDULE

LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described within that portion of the County of Clifton bounded on the south by the present boundary of the Borough of Waitara, on the west by the Waitara River, on the north by the Tasman Sea, and on the east by Hutchins Street extension, the lines at present proposed to be erected and used being shown by means of green lines on the plan marked S.H.D. 133, deposited in the office of the Minister in Charge of the State Hydro-electric Department.

Domain Board Appointed to Have Control of the Granity Domain

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section 44 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Arthur Prosser,
John Henry Evans,
Robert Vincent Kelly,
James Jones,
Joseph Michael Byrne,
John Rioidan Leonard,
Eric Arthur Ashenden,
Joseph Russell Walshe, and
William Patrick McCormack

to be the Granity Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the 5th day of March, 1951, at 7 o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Granity Community Centre as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—GRANITY DOMAIN

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 4 acres and 22 perches, more or less, being all the land shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Nelson under No. 3986, being part Lot 16, D.P. 138, and being part of Section 2, Block VI, Ngakawau Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/836A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Authorizing the Exchange of Portion of a Reserve in Block XII, Waiwera Survey District, North Auckland Land District, for Other Land

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 27th day of February, 1951

THE HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the First Schedule hereto forms portion of a reserve duly set apart for recreation purposes: And whereas it is expedient that the said land should be exchanged for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, which the Governor-General deems of equal value and more suitable for the purposes of the reserve:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section 8 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto may be exchanged for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

DESCRIPTION OF PORTION OF RESERVE AUTHORIZED TO BE EXCHANGED

North Auckland Land District

ALL that area situated in Block XII, Waiwera Survey District, containing by admeasurement 24·4 perches, more or less, being Lot 3, as shown on the plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 36995, being part of Allotment 28, Parish of Waiwera, and being part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 214, folio 44 (Auckland Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/745, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

SECOND SCHEDULE

DESCRIPTION OF LAND TO BE OBTAINED IN EXCHANGE THEREFOR

North Auckland Land District

ALL that area situated in Block XII, Waiwera Survey District, containing by admeasurement 38·2 perches, more or less, being Lot 1, as shown on the plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 36995, being part of Allotment S.189, Parish of Waiwera, and being part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 764, folio 38 (Auckland Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/745, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged green.

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Matakitaiki Survey District, Nelson Land District

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for a site for a public hall:

And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for recreation purposes:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection (1) (a) of section 7 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for a site for a public hall to a reserve for recreation purposes.
