A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section thirty-five of the Public Works Act,
1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare
the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject
to the Land Act, 1948.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land:
3 roods 3·32 perches.
Being part Lot I, D.P. 7251, being Lots, 589, 590, and 591, S.O.
2402, being part Te Whare-O-Maraenui Block, and being also
part Section 13R.
Situated in Block IV, Heretaunga Survey District (Borough of
Napier), (Hawke’s Bay R.D.). (S.O. 2402.)
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more parti-
cularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 130769, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
edged pink.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 1st day of February, 1950.

Authorizing The Seddonville Community Centre (Incorporated), to
Erect and Use Electric Lines in Portion of the County of
Buller

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 1st day of
February, 1950
Present:
THE HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, doth hereby grant, subject to the conditions
hereinafter set forth, a licence authorizing The Seddonville Com-
munity Centre (Incorporated), a duly incorporated society, having
its registered office at Seddonville (hereinafter referred to as the
licensee), to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines
described in the Schedule hereto.
CONDITIONS
- IMPLIED CONDITIONS
The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical
Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations
1935 shall be incorporated herein and shall form part of this licence,
except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions
hereof.
- LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the
licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical
Wiring Regulations 1935, and the Radio Interference Regulations
1934, and with all regulations made or to be made in amplification
of amendment thereof or in substitution therefor.
- SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
The system of supply shall be an alternating-current system as
described in paragraph (d) of clause 21–01 of the Electrical Supply
Regulations 1935.
- PURPOSE FOR WHICH ELECTRICITY SUPPLIED
The electrical energy supplied in accordance with these presents
shall be used for lighting purposes only.
- CHARGE ON SALE
The charge for the sale of electrical energy shall not exceed
12s. per calendar month per consumer.
- DURATION OF LICENCE
Unless sooner lawfully determined, this licence shall continue
in force until the 31st day of March, 1970, or until electrical energy
is available from an Electric-power Board or other public source of
supply, whichever is the earlier.
SCHEDULE
LINES adapted for the supply of electrical energy by the system
of supply hereinbefore described within a radius of 60 chains
from the licensee’s generator situated in Section 54, Block XV,
Mokihinui Survey District, in the County of Buller, the lines at
present erected and used being more particularly shown by means
of red lines on the plan marked S.H.D. 97, deposited in the office
of the Minister in charge of the State Hydro-electric Department.

Altering and Redefining the Boundaries of the Motunau Rabbit District

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 25th day of
January, 1950
Present:
THE HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1928, and to section
twenty-nine of the Rabbit Nuisance Amendment Act, 1947,
His Excellency the Governor-General, at the request of the Minister
of Agriculture, made on the recommendation of the Rabbit Destruc-
tion Council, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council, doth hereby—
(1) Alter and redefine the boundaries of the Motunau Rabbit
District by adding thereto the area of land the boundaries of which
are described in the First Schedule hereto.
(2) Declare that the boundaries of the said district as so altered
and redefined shall be those set forth in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
DESCRIPTION OF BOUNDARIES OF THE AREA TO BE ADDED TO THE
MOTUNAU RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Counties of Cheviot and Waipara of the Canter-
bury Land District, containing 28,800 acres, more or less, bounded
by a line commencing at a point on the boundary of the Cheviot
Rabbit District at the mouth of the Hurunui River; thence south-
westerly along the sea-coast, to and along the north-east boundary
of the Motunau Rabbit District (N.Z. Gazette No. 11, 25th February,
1926, page 482) to and north-easterly along the Hurunui Rabbit
District (N.Z. Gazette No. 54, 15th September, 1949, page 2298),
to and easterly along the Cheviot Rabbit District (N.Z. Gazette
No. 54, 15th September, 1949, page 2300), to the mouth of the
Hurunui River, the point of commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE
DESCRIPTION OF BOUNDARIES OF THE MOTUNAU RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Counties of Cheviot and Waipara of the Canter-
bury Land District, containing 57,800 acres, more or less, bounded
by a line commencing at a point on the boundary of the Cheviot
Rabbit District at the mouth of the Hurunui River; thence south-
westerly along the sea-coast to the eastern boundary of the Hurunui
Rabbit District (N.Z. Gazette No. 54, 15th September, 1949,
page 2298); thence generally in a northerly direction by that
boundary to the southern boundary of the Cheviot Rabbit District
(N.Z. Gazette No. 54, 15th September, 1949, page 2300); thence
easterly by that boundary to the mouth of the Hurunui River, the
point of commencement.
