Varying a Notice Authorizing Officers to Attest Signatures of Maoris
to Instruments Under the Chattels Transfer Act, 1924
B. C. FREYBERG, Governor-General
PURSUANT to section 547 of the Maori Land Act, 1931, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby vary the notice
dated 16th October, 1950, and published in New Zealand Gazette
No. 65 on 19th October, 1950, at page 1871, authorizing certain
officers in the service of the Crown to attest the signatures of Maoris
to instruments under the Chattels Transfer Act, 1924, by deleting
therefrom the name of
Wilson Watene, Clerk-in-Charge, Tauranga.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General,
this 12th day of December, 1950.

Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby vary the notice
dated 16th October, 1950, and published in New Zealand Gazette
No. 65 on the 19th October, 1950, at page 1871, authorizing certain
officers in the service of the Crown to attest the signatures of Maoris
to instruments of alienation of Maori land, by deleting therefrom
the name of
Wilson Watene, Clerk-in-Charge, Tauranga.

Appointing a Supervising Officer Under the General Harbour Motor
Launch By-laws, 1934
Pursuant to the Harbours Act, 1923, and the General Harbour
Motor Launch By-laws, 1934, and to every other power
enabling me in that behalf, I, William Stanley Goosman, Minister of
Marine, do hereby appoint you
Ronald James Sutherland
to be a Supervising Officer under the said By-laws in respect of the
navigable waters of the Waikato River.

In pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred
upon me by section 29 of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1946,
