A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto; and I do also hereby take the land described in the Third Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection 6 of the said section 29.

THIRD SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 9·7 perches. Being part Lot 1, D.P. 1907, part Section 3 ; bordered orange. Situated in Block IV, Waihua Survey District (Hawke's Bay R.D.). (S.O. 2456.) All in the Hawke's Bay Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of December, 1950.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (5) of section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land, being closed road, described in the First Schedule hereto to be added to the adjoining reserve, described in the Second Schedule hereto.

Approximate Area of the Piece of Closed Road.

A. R. P. 0 2 15·3 Section 65, formerly road adjoining or passing through part Section 34, part Section 34, D.P. 3080, and Being also Section 72, formerly road adjoining or passing through part Lot 4, D.P. 2419 (Taranaki R.D.) (S.O. 7900.)	} XIII I	Ngaere. Hawera.

In the Taranaki Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 130793, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

SECOND SCHEDULE

All that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 24 perches, more or less, being Lot 4 on D.P. 2419, being part Section 55, Block I, Hawera Survey District, and part Section 54, Block XIII, Ngaere Survey District (part Araukuku Block).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of December, 1950.
