  • The rates for consignments measuring up to and including 15 cubic feet include (in addition to wharfage, loading, or unloading at Picton) cartage, wharfage, and harbour-improvement rate at Wellington, and sorting at Blenheim. Consignments of homing pigeons and empty return crates or baskets exceeding 15 cubic feet will be charged at rates of 39s. and 19s 6d. respectively per ton of 40 cubic feet plus the appropriate charges for cartage, wharfage and harbour-improvement rate at Wellington, and sorting at Blenheim.

† Charge first 100 cubic feet at 48s. 6d. per 40 cubic feet and the balance of the measurement at 35s. per 40 cubic feet.
