Vesting a Reserve in the Wairarapa South County Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 6th day of December, 1950

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for a roadman’s cottage and paddock: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Wairarapa South.

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Wairarapa South, in trust, for a reserve for a roadman’s cottage and paddock.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL those areas situated in Block VIII, Wainuioru Survey District, containing by admeasurement a total of 18 acres and 39·5 perches, more or less, being Lots 1 and 2 on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington under No. 14778, being parts Section 269, Pahaua Block. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/4055, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Vesting a Reserve in the Selwyn Plantation Board

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for plantation purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Selwyn Plantation Board:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Selwyn Plantation Board in trust, for plantation purposes.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart for Rabbit Board buildings: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Eastern Pohangina Rabbit Board:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Eastern Pohangina Rabbit Board, in trust, for Rabbit Board buildings.

Revoking the Reservation Over a Reserve in Block III, Township of Casanova, Otago Land District

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 6th day of December, 1950

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection (1) (b) of section 7 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for public purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1948.

SCHEDULE

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 2 roods 39·4 perches, more or less, situated in the Township of Casanova, being Lot 20, Block III, on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Dunedin, under No. 3808, being part Section 12, Block I, Oamaru Survey District, and being part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 224, folio 170 (Otago Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/575A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Revoking the Reservation Over Reserves in Otahuhu Survey District, North Auckland Land District

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection (1) (b) of section 7 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for a plantation reserve over the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and doth hereby revoke the reservation for a road reserve over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said lands, being vested in the Crown, are Crown lands available for disposal under the Land Act, 1948.

FIRST SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area situated in Block I, Otahuhu Survey District, containing by admeasurement 13·2 perches, more or less, being Lot 17 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office, at Auckland, under No. 16452, and being part of Allotment 7, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland, and being portion of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 124, folio 254 (Auckland Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/3113D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

SECOND SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area, situated in Block I, Otahuhu Survey District, containing by admeasurement 36·6 perches, more or less, as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office, at Auckland, under No. 20155, being a Road Reserve, being part of Allotment 17A, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland, and being portion of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 425, folio 293 (Auckland Registry). As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/3113E, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
