Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Pohangina Survey District, Wellington Land District

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 6th day of December, 1950

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for gravel purposes:

And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for Rabbit Board buildings:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection (1) (a) of section 7 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for gravel purposes to a reserve for Rabbit Board buildings.

Cancelling the Vesting of a Reserve in the Pohangina County Council

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 6th day of December, 1950

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve for gravel purposes, and is vested, in trust, in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Pohangina.

And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Pohangina County Council has duly consented to such cancellation:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection (1) of section 10 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Pohangina of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve for municipal purposes and is vested in trust in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Opotiki:

And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Opotiki Borough Council has duly consented to such cancellation:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection (1) of section 10 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Opotiki of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Lot 2 of parts of Allotments 153 and 154 of Section 2, Town of Opotiki. WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve for a gravel-pit, and is vested, in trust, in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Selwyn:

And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Selwyn County Council has duly consented to such cancellation:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection (1) of section 10 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Selwyn of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Vesting a Reserve in the Hutt County Council

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 6th day of December, 1950

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for a site for a public hall: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Hutt.

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Hutt, in trust, for a site for a public hall.

ALL that area, containing by admeasurement a total of 1 acre and 0·18 perches, more or less, being Lots 29 and 30, on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office, at Wellington under No. 9790, being part Section 22, Wainui District.

Also all that area containing by admeasurement 1 rood 7 perches, more or less, being Lot 52 on a plan deposited as aforesaid under No. 10230, being part Section 22, Wainui District.

Also all that area containing by admeasurement 1 rood 35·24 perches, more or less, being Lot 4, on a plan deposited as aforesaid under No. 10737, being part Section 22, Wainui District.

Also all that area containing by admeasurement 23·93 perches more or less, being Lot 14 on a plan deposited as aforesaid under No. 11635, being part Section 22, Wainui District.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/953c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
