Land Taken, Subject to Certain Rights, for a Recreation-ground in the City of Auckland

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to the rights of any person claiming water frontage to the said land as provided by the Auckland Harbour Foreshore Grant Act, 1875, for a recreation-ground, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 18th day of December, 1950.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 acres 3 roods 36·2 perches.

Being land below mean high-water mark Auckland Harbour.

Situated in Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District (City of Auckland) (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 35099.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 130816, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of December, 1950.

Land Taken for Better Utilization in Block V, Belmont Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for better utilization; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 18th day of December, 1950.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 32 perches.

Situate in Block V of the Belmont Survey District, being part of Section 62 of the Porirua District, and being also Lot 3 on D.P. No. 12953 (Town of Porirua East Extension No. 3), being all the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 526, folio 174, Wellington Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of December, 1950.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for better utilization; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 18th day of December, 1950.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 roods 8·06 perches.

Situate in Block V of the Belmont Survey District, being part of Section 62 of the Porirua District, and being also Lots 7, 8, 9, and 10 on D.P. 12953 (Town of Porirua East Extension No. 3), being part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 173, folio 104 (Wellington Land Registry).

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water-power (Southbrook Substation).

Being part Lot 1, D.P. 4267, part Rural Section 709.

Situated in Block X, Rangiora Survey District (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 8204.)

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 132427, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of December, 1950.

In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 133036, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.
