Additional Land at Remuera Taken for the Purposes of the Kaipara–Waikato Railway

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Kaipara–Waikato Railway.

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 10641, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of December, 1950.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Thames Valley – Rotorua Railway.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 5 acres 12·8 perches. Being street in Proclamation 1994.

Situated in Blocks VI and X, Patetere North Survey District, Borough of Putaruru. (S.O. 34874.)

In the South Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 10623, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of December, 1950.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 5 acres 3 roods 2·6 perches. Being part Section 17, Block X, Nuhaka Survey District, Wairoa County. (S.O. 2490.)

In the Hawke's Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 10624, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of December, 1950.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Foxton – New Plymouth Railway.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 3 roods 39·09 perches. Being part Section 22, Right Bank, Wanganui River.

Situated in Block III, Westmere Survey District, City of Wanganui. (S.O. 22183.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 10622, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of December, 1950.

Leasehold Estate in Land Taken for a Roadman's Cottage in Block I, Waiwhero Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto held from His Majesty the King by Gordon Peter Manderson, of Greymouth, Miner, under and by virtue of a Renewable Lease recorded in Volume 42, folio 192 (Westland Land Registry), is hereby taken for a roadman's cottage; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 18th day of December, 1950.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the leasehold estate is taken : 2 acres.

Being Section 3869, Block I, Waiwhero Survey District, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Register Book, Volume 42, folio 192 (Westland Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of December, 1950.
