Proclaiming a Road-line Laid Off in Block V, Mangakahia Survey District, North Auckland Land District, to be a Public Road

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by order of the Maori Land Court made on the 6th day of December, 1943, duly laid off as a road-line in pursuance of sections 478, 479, and 483 of the Maori Land Act, 1931 :

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands in terms of section 486 of the said Act :

And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of subsection 2 of section 487 of the said Act :

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road :

Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section 487 of the Maori Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a road :—

A. R. P. Being portion of
1 1 13 Lot 2, D.P. 15815, of Mimitu Ruarei No. 1 ; coloured blue
1 0 18 Mimitu Ruarei No. 4 ; coloured yellow.
1 1 12 Mimitu Ruarei No. 5b ; coloured sepia.

All situated in Block V, Mangakahia Survey District. (N.L. plan 13223.)

In the North Auckland Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/42 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 3059, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of December, 1950.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Maori Land Court made on the 30th day of April, 1940, duly laid out as a road-line in pursuance of sections 478 and 479 of the Maori Land Act, 1931 :

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section 486 of the said Act :

In the North Auckland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/3147, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 3061, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of December, 1950.

Crown Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section 18 of the Forests Act, 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as provisional State forest land.

SCHEDULE

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON CONSERVANCY

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, Buller County, containing by admeasurement 517 acres 3 roods 38 perches, more or less, being Section 21, Block I, Otumahana Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 101/14, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Nelson plan S.O. 6347.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of December, 1950.
