A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 11th day of December, 1950.

Authorizing the Laying-off of Streets off Philpotts Road, in the City of Christchurch, at Widths Less than 66 feet but Not Less than 50 feet, Subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 6th day of December, 1950.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1948, and section 125 of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the Christchurch City Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed streets described in the Schedule hereto at widths for parts of their lengths of less than 66 feet, but not less than 50 feet, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the said streets within a distance of 48 feet from the centre-lines of the said streets.

SCHEDULE

THOSE proposed streets in the Canterbury Land District, City of Christchurch, together containing by admeasurement 2 acres 1 rood 16 perches, more or less, being part Lot 1, D.P. 1308, part Rural Section 781.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 132453, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Authorizing the Laying-off of Extensions of Rimu and Rata Streets in the Borough of Hastings, Subject to a Condition as to the Building-lines

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 6th day of December, 1950

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1948, and section 125 of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the Hastings Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed streets described in the Schedule hereto at a width for the whole of their lengths of less that 66 feet, but not less that 50 feet, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land adjoining such streets within a distance of 48 feet from the centre-lines of the said streets.

SCHEDULE

THOSE proposed streets in the Hawke's Bay Land District, Borough of Hastings, being extensions of Rimu and Rata Streets, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 6 perches, more or less, being Lot 100, D.P. 7622, part Lots 4, 5, and 6, D.P. 2810, and part Lot 4, D.P. 7727, and being part Heretaunga Block. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 132861, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Authorizing the Laying-off of Tulagi Place, Sprott Road (Portion), and Allum Street (Extension), in the City of Auckland, Subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 29th day of November, 1950

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 31 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1948, and section 125 of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the Auckland City Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street first described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 feet, but not less than 45 feet, and of the proposed street secondly described in the said Schedule at a width for part of its length of less that 66 feet, but not less than 54 feet, and of the proposed street thirdly described in the said Schedule at a width for part of its length of less than 66 feet, but not less than 60 feet, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the said streets within a distance of 48 feet from the centre-lines of the said streets.

SCHEDULE

THAT proposed street in the North Auckland Land District, City of Auckland, to be known as Tulagi Place, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 17 perches, more or less, being part Lot 2, D.P. 29673, being part Allotment 29, District of Tamaki.

Also that proposed street in the said land district and city, to be known as Sprott Road (portion), containing by admeasurement 2 roods 38 perches, more or less, being part Lot 2, D.P. 29673, being part Allotments 28 and 29, District of Tamaki.

Also that proposed street in the said land district and city, being an extension of Allum Street, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 1 rood 35 perches, more or less, being part Lots 2 and 3, D.P. 29673, being part Allotments 28 and 29, District of Tamaki.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 132705, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
