CHANGE OF NAME OF COMPANY
NOTICE is hereby given that CADMAN’S PARKING STATION, LIMITED, has changed its name to CADMAN’S PROPERTIES AND INVESTMENT COMPANY, LIMITED, and that the new name was this day entered on my register of companies in place of the former name.

POHANGINA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Workers’ Dwelling Loan 1944, Instalment No. 2 of £3,500
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Pohangina County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of the half-yearly instalments of principal and interest in respect of the Workers’ Dwelling Loan 1944, Instalment No. 2 of £3,500, authorized to be raised by the Pohangina County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the erection of workers’ dwellings, the said Pohangina County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two forty-ninths of a penny (²⁄₄₉ ths d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the County of Pohangina; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of June and the 1st day of December in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I certify the foregoing to be a true copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Pohangina County Council held on 9th November, 1950.

THE MUSIC TEACHERS REGISTRATION ACT, 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that an election, in terms of the regulations, was held in the District of Auckland on Wednesday, 22nd November, 1950.
Three candidates were nominated for two vacancies, and the votes were recorded as follows:—
Henry Shirley, 134. Henry G. Cook, 110. Albert Bryant, 51. 340 voting papers were issued, 170 were returned. Seven were rejected as informal.
I therefore declare Henry Shirley and Henry G. Cook to be duly elected.
In the Wellington District Stanley Oliver and H. Temple-White were nominated for two vacancies. In the Canterbury District Ernest Empson and L. C. Barnes were nominated for two vacancies. In the Otago District Mary A. Martin and Ernest Drake were nominated for two vacancies.
I therefore declare all these to be duly elected.

VOLUNTARY WINDING-UP RESOLUTION

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the above company held on 22nd November, 1950, it was resolved as a special resolution that the company be wound up voluntarily and that JOHN PATRICK MURPHY, Public Accountant, Whangarei, be appointed liquidator.

WANGANUI-RANGITIKEI ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and by section 15 of the Finance Act, 1936 (No. 2), and of all other powers (if any) it therewith enabling, the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest and repayment charges and all other expenses on the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric-power Board’s Reticulation Extension Loan 1950 of £100,000 to be raised pursuant to the authority of the above-mentioned Acts, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one seventeenth part of one penny (¹⁄₁₇th. of 1d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all the rateable property of the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric-power District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the aforesaid loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that this is a true copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Board on 20th November, 1950, and entered in the minutes of that meeting.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE FOR SECURITY
Waterworks Supplementary Loan 1950, £1,200
Extract from the minutes of proceedings of the Council at a meeting held on the 31st day of October, 1950.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Ellerslie Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,200, authorized to be raised by the Ellerslie Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of completing the purpose for which the Waterworks Loan 1945, £12,000, was authorized, the said Ellerslie Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought one nought five pence (·0105d.) in the pound upon the rateable value, on the basis of the capital value, of all rateable property in the Ellerslie Borough; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such special loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a correct extract from the minutes of proceedings of the Ellerslie Borough Council at the meeting held on the 31st day of October, 1950.
