NOTICE is hereby given that by special resolution of share-
holders of the above company, passed on the 24th day of
October, 1950, it was resolved that the company be wound up
voluntarily and that JACK HAMER PICKLES, of Christchurch, Public
Accountant, be appointed liquidator.

NOTICE OF VOLUNTARY WINDING-UP
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter
of PRE-CUT HOUSES, LIMITED.
NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of Pre-Cut Houses,
Limited, will be held in the forenoon of Tuesday, 7th
November, 1950, at which a resolution for voluntary winding-up
is to be proposed, and that a meeting of the creditors of the company
will be held, pursuant to section 234 of the Companies Act, 1933,
in the Board Room of the Employers’ Association, National Insurance
Building, O’Connell Street, Auckland, on 7th November, 1950,
at 2.15 p.m., at which meeting a full statement of the position of
the company’s affairs, together with a list of the creditors and the
estimated amount of their claims, will be laid before the meeting,
and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 235
of the said Act, may nominate a person to be the liquidator of the
company, and in pursuance of section 236 of the said Act, may
appoint a committee of inspection.
If you desire to be represented by proxy a form of appointment
must be lodged with me not later than 4 p.m. on Monday, 6th
November, 1950. General and special forms of proxy are enclosed,
and your attention is directed to sections 123 to 133 of the Companies
Winding-up Rules.

CHANGE OF NAME OF COMPANY
NOTICE is hereby given that P. BARRETT AND COMPANY, LIMITED,
has changed its name to QUEENS BURY CARTAGE, LIMITED,
and that the new name was this day entered on my register of
companies in place of the former name.

KIWITEA COUNTY COUN CIL
RESOLUTION MAKING AND LEVYING SPECIAL RATE
The Workers’ Dwellings Loan, 1950, of £9,000
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other
powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Kiwitea County Council
hereby resolves as follows : —
“ That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of principal,
interest, and other charges on a loan of nine thousand pounds
(£9,000) authorized to be raised by the Kiwitea County Council
under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing workers'
dwellings or sites therefor, and/or for erecting workers’ dwellings
on any sites purchased, acquired, or appropriated for the purpose
by the said Council or for any other purpose within the scope of
section 192 of the Counties Act, 1920, the said Council hereby
makes and levies a special rate of one-nineteenth of a penny (1/19d.)
in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value)
of all rateable property in the County of Kiwitea and that such
special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency
of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each
and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of
twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

of the County of Kiwitea was hereto affixed at the office of and
pursuant to a resolution of the Kiwitea County Council in the
