NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP

I, IVAN GREY TUCK, of Hastings, Engineer, hereby give notice that the partnership between myself and JOHN PARK, of Haumoana, Engineer, trading under the firm name of Knee Actions, has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 1st day of November, 1950. I shall carry on the business alone and debts owing to the partnership should be paid to me.

AUSTRALIAN METROPOLITAN DRAINAGE BOARD

SPECIAL ORDER

Loan No. 6, 1951, £9,550

THE Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Board doth hereby, in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act, 1944, and in pursuance of the authority conferred on it under the Local Bodies’ Finance Act, 1921–22, the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, and their respective amendments, and in exercise of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, resolve by special resolution intended to operate as a Special Order to borrow the sum of nine thousand five hundred and fifty pounds (£9,550) as a special loan to be known as Loan No. 6, 1951, £9,550, for the purpose of repaying the balance which will be due and owing on 31st March, 1951, of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board’s Loan No. 12, of £30,000, which matures on that date and which was raised in 1936, for the purpose of constructing a stormwater culvert in Arch Hill Gully and extending Branch Sewer No. 9, in the Oakley Creek Watershed.

The foregoing Special Order was made by way of a special resolution passed at a special meeting of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Board, convened by requisition of the Chairman, dated the 19th day of September, 1950, and held on the 27th day of September, 1950. It was publicly notified in the New Zealand Herald on the 4th and 25th days of October, 1950. It was confirmed, at a special meeting of the Board, convened by resolution of the Board on the 27th day of September, 1950, and held on the 1st day of November, 1950.

NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of the above-named company will be held in my office, 31 Mersey Street, Gore, on Friday, the 24th day of November, 1950, at 2 o’clock p.m. for the purpose of having an account laid before it showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation which may be given by the liquidator, and to determine how the books and accounts of the company shall be disposed of.

THE liquidator of Java Coffee House, Limited, which company is being wound up voluntarily, do hereby fix the 30th day of November, 1950, as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 258 of the above Act, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved, or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.

NOTICE is hereby given that by notice dated the 23rd day of March, 1950, the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Upper Hutt required to take certain lands in the Borough of Upper Hutt for the purposes of a public work—namely, a pleasure grounds: And notice is hereby further given that the lands described in the Schedule hereto, being all the land described in the aforesaid notice, are not now required for the purposes of the said public work and the aforesaid notice is hereby withdrawn in respect of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land containing 30·3 perches, more or less, situate in the Borough of Upper Hutt, being part Section 126, and being part of Lots 41 and 42 on Deposited Plan 9304, and being also the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 539, folio 211, Wellington Registry.
