Revoking Portion of a Warrant Excluding Roads From Limitation as to Speed, and Declaring Area to be a Closely Populated Locality for the Purposes of the Transport Act, 1949, Section 36
IN terms of section 36 of the Transport Act, 1949, the Minister of Transport doth hereby revoke that portion of the Warrant dated the 9th day of August, 1937,* which applies to the road described in the First Schedule hereto, and doth hereby declare the area described in the Second Schedule hereto to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of the said section to the intent that a person driving any motor-vehicle on any road therein shall be subject to the maximum speed limit of thirty miles an hour fixed by the said said section.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Waipukurau Borough—
Napier–Wellington via Wairarapa Main Highway No. 15 (all that portion from the northern boundary of Waipukurau Borough to the junction of the said main highway with River Terrace, a distance of approximately 10 chains).
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Waipawa County—
All that area adjacent to Waipukurau Borough consisting of the Napier–Palmerston North State Highway No. 30, commencing at the northern boundary of Waipukurau Borough and terminating at a point 10 chains measured along the said State highway in a northerly direction from the northern end of the bridge over the Tukituki River.

Amending Speed Limitation Imposed by Section 36 of the Transport Act, 1949
IN terms of section 36 of the Transport Act, 1949, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, the Minister of Transport doth hereby revoke that portion of the Warrant dated the 27th day of July, 1937,* which applies to the road described in the First Schedule hereto, and doth hereby exclude that portion of road which is described in the Second Schedule hereto from limitation as to speed imposed by the said section.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Patea Borough—
Auckland–Wellington via Taranaki Main Highway No. 1 (all that portion from the northern boundary of Patea Borough to a point 5 chains measured along the road in a northerly direction from the junction of the main highway with Hadfield Street, a distance of approximately 45 chains.)
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Patea Borough—
Hawera–Wanganui State Highway No. 11 (all that portion commencing at the north-western boundary of Patea Borough and terminating at its junction with Scotland Street, a distance of approximately 23 chains).

Amending Speed Limitations Imposed by Section 36 of the Transport Act, 1949
IN terms of section 36 of the Transport Act, 1949, and of all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Minister of Transport doth hereby revoke that portion of the Warrant dated the 10th day of November, 1937,* which applies to the road described in the First Schedule hereto, and doth hereby exclude that portion of the road which is described in the Second Schedule hereto from the limitation as to speed imposed by the said section.

SITUATED within Temuka Borough—
High Street (all that portion from its junction with Maude Street to the eastern boundary of Temuka Borough, as now constituted, a distance of approximately 42 chains).
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Temuka Borough—
Temuka–Clandeboye Main Highway No. 214 (all that portion from its junction with Murry Street to the eastern boundary of Temuka Borough, a distance of approximately 12 chains.)

Approval of Application by New Plymouth City Council for Declaration of a Zone of Parking Restriction
PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Traffic Sign Regulations 1937, as amended by the Traffic Sign Regulations 1937, Amendment No. 1, the Minister of Transport doth hereby approve of the application made by the New Plymouth City Council for a declaration that the continuous parking of motor-vehicles shall be restricted to a maximum period of sixty minutes for any vehicle between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. in the zone of parking restriction described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL that part of Devon Street commencing at its meeting with Queen Street and ending at its meeting with Gover Street.
The Schedule is more particularly delineated on plan No. TT. 1725, deposited in the office of the Commissioner of Transport at Wellington.

Declaring Area to be a Closely Populated Locality for the Purposes of Section 36 of the Transport Act, 1949
IN terms of section 36 of the Transport Act, 1949, the Minister of Transport doth hereby declare the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of the said section to the intent that a person driving any motor-vehicle on any road therein shall be subject to the maximum speed limit of thirty miles an hour fixed by the said section.
SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Mount Herbert County—
All that area at Charteris Bay consisting of the Teddington–Port Levy Main Highway No. 622, commencing at a point opposite the jetty at Charteris Bay, and terminating at a point 50 chains measured along the said main highway generally in a north-easterly direction from the commencing point.

Classification of Road in West Harbour Borough
PURSUANT to regulation 3 (5) of the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations 1950, the Minister of Transport doth hereby alter the West Harbour Borough Council's proposed classification of the road described in the Schedule hereto and doth hereby approve such altered classification as described in the said Schedule.
