SCHEDULE

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—SOUTHLAND CONSERVANCY

Herbert Rural Fire District

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Waitaki County, containing approximately 11,000 acres, situated in Blocks V, VII, VIII, IX, XIII, and XIV, Otepopo Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north-west and north-east by the northern side of Simms Road; towards the north by Section 9, and the land contained in Land Transfer plan 1792, Block VII, aforesaid, towards the east generally by Sections 34, 35, and 36, Block V, aforesaid, by the southern boundary of Herbert Township to the railway reserve, by that reserve and by Section 44, Block V, aforesaid, thence by the North Branch of the Waianakarua River to a point due north of the north-western corner of Section 44, Block IX, aforesaid, thence by a right line to the north-western corner of the aforesaid Section 44, thence by that section, Section 14, the crossing of the Mount Misery Road, and by Sections 17 and 42, all of Block IX, aforesaid; towards the south-east generally by the south branch of the Waianakarua River; towards the south by the middle branch of the Waianakarua River to a point due south of Trig. Station “Table Hill”; and towards the west by a right line to the south-eastern corner of Section 2, Block XIV, aforesaid, and by that section to and across Simms Road. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 188/7, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Domain Board Appointed to Have Control of the Mangateparu Domain

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 1st day of November, 1950

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section 44 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke an Order in Council dated the 22nd day of December, 1943, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 23rd day of that month, appointing a Domain Board to control the Mangateparu Domain, and doth hereby appoint

Roy Vickers,
Horace Daines,
Robert Leslie Brinkworth,
Clarence Roy Billington,
Laurence Michael Fahey,
Charles George Hammond,
Albert Tordoff,
Philip Murray Oliver, and
Percy Joseph Westbury

to be the Mangateparu Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the 1st day of November, 1950, at 1.30 o’clock p.m. as the time when, and the Domain Pavilion, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section 44 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Harry Samuel Horsnell,
William Wellwood,
Ernest Samuel Marshall,
Robert Sinclair,
Stanley Frank Bailey,
Andrew Martin, and
Alfred George Woods
to be the Morven Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the 30th day of November, 1950, at 8 o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Morven Hall, Morven, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—MORVEN DOMAIN

RESERVE 3596, Block VII, Waitaki Survey District: Area, 60 acres, more or less.

Also Reserve 3459, Morven Township, Block VII, Waitaki Survey District: Area, 4 acres 1 rood 15 perches, more or less.

Also Reserve 3458, Block VIII, Morven Township: Area, 2 acres 2 roods, more or less.

Also part Reserve 1816, Block VII, Waitaki Survey District: Area, 63 acres 2 roods 32 perches, more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L and S. 1/124A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged blue.

Declaring Land in Wellington Land District to be a Public Reserve

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 1st day of November, 1950

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by subsection (1) of section 6 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, being of the opinion that there is a doubt or uncertainty as to whether the land described in the Schedule hereto was immediately before the commencement of the said Act a public reserve within the meaning of section 2 of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that the said land is a public reserve for recreation purposes within the meaning of the Act first above mentioned.


SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area situated in Block XIII, Belmont Survey District, containing by admeasurement 16 acres 3 roods 17·14 perches, more or less, being Lot 8 and part Lots 3 and 4 on a plan numbered 1968, deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington, and part Lots 2 and 3 on a plan numbered 890, deposited as aforesaid, and Lot 72 on a plan numbered 8102, also deposited as aforesaid, all being part of Section 6, Hutt District, and being part of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 547, folio 295, Wellington Registry.

Cancelling the Vesting of a Reserve in the Pahiatua County Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 1st day of November, 1950

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve for gravel purposes, and is vested, in trust, in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Pahiatua:

And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Pahiatua County Council has duly consented to such cancellation:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection (1) of section 10 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Pahiatua of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

SECTION 7, Block XIII, Mangahao Survey District: Area, 3 acres 2 roods, more or less.
