Present:
THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, as amended by section 15 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1938, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the closing of the portion of Logan Avenue, in the City of Napier, described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the portion of street affected : 3·26 perches. Adjoining Lot 45, D.P. 7437, part Te Whare-o-Maraenui Block. Situated in the City of Napier (Hawke's Bay R.D.). (S.O. 2362.)
In the Hawke's Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 130759, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green. T. J. SHERRARD, Clerk of the Executive Council. (P.W. 51/2955.)

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedules hereto, such land being no longer required for the purpose for which it was acquired.

FIRST SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land directed to be sold : 7·88 perches. Being part Section 4. Situated in Block XI, Waihou Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 31710.) In the South Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 113535, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

SECOND SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land directed to be sold 19·6 perches. Being part Lot 1, D.P. 15107, being portion of Section 4, Block XI, Waihou Survey District, and being the residue of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 346, folio 140 (Auckland Land Registry). IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the public work for which it was taken.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land directed to be sold: 5·8 perches. Being part railway land in Proclamation 2216, and being part Lot 20, D.P. 3177, being part Allotments 6 and 7, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland. Situated in Block I, Otahuhu Survey District, City of Auckland. (S.O. 13803.) In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 10506, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue. ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 11th day of October, 1950. Present:
THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act, 1923, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby license and permit the New Zealand Glass Manufacturers Company, Proprietary, Limited (hereinafter called the Company, which term shall include its successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore in Parengarenga Harbour, as shown on plan marked M.D. 7499, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining a wharf thereon as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the Company upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
  2. The premium payable by the company shall be one pound (£1) and the annual sum so payable shall be two pounds ten shillings (£2 10s.).
  3. The term of the licence shall be fourteen years from the Ist day of October, 1950.
  4. The master of all vessels discharging ballast at the said wharf shall have all such ballast taken away and deposited above high-water mark, or at such place as may be approved by the Minister or by any person appointed by the Minister for that purpose. HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Act, 1908, and to section 4 of the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Amendment Act, 1912, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby change the name of the society incorporated under the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Act, 1908, under the style and title of “The Hutt Valley Pastoral and Agricultural Society” to “The Wellington and Hutt Valley Agricultural and Pastoral Association.” T.
