Also all that area in the Te Whiti Riding of the County of Masterton, situated in Block IV, Tiffin Survey district, containing 14 acres and 38 perches, more or less, bounded as follows: Commencing at the intersection of the middle line of High Street and the production of the north-eastern side of Junction Road, being a point on the western boundary of the Borough of Masterton as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 75 of 18th September, 1941, at page 2808; thence proceeding northerly by a right line at right angles to the middle line of High Street to the northern side of High Street and the production of that line for a further 250 links; thence easterly by a right line parallel with and distant 250 links from that northern side of High Street for a distance of 635 links; thence north-westerly by a right line parallel to and distant 250 links from the south-western side of Judd’s Road for a distance of 700 links; thence north-easterly by a right line to the north-western corner of part Lot 5 on Deeds Plan numbered 198, lodged in the Deeds Registry Office at Wellington, being the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 346, folio 54 (Wellington Registry); thence easterly and southerly along the northern and eastern boundaries of the land in the aforesaid certificate of title to the northern boundary of the land in the plan numbered 10928, deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington; thence easterly generally along that boundary to the eastern boundary of the aforesaid plan numbered 10928; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of the land in Certificate of Title, Volume 479, folio 110 (Wellington Registry), being part Lot 4 on Deeds Plan numbered 198, lodged as aforesaid, to the boundary of the Borough of Masterton, as described aforesaid; thence southerly and easterly along that boundary to the point of commencement.

Also all that area in the Opaki Riding of the County of Masterton, situated in Block IV, Tiffin Survey District, containing 6 acres 2 roods, more or less, bounded as follows: Commencing at the intersection of the south-western boundary of Lot 3 on the plan numbered 11565, deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington, and the north-western side of Ngaumutawa Road, being also a point on the boundary of the Borough of Masterton as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 75 of 18th September, 1941, at page 2808; thence proceeding north-easterly along the north-western side of Ngaumutawa Road to the south-western side of Akura Road; thence south-easterly along that side to the boundary of the Borough of Masterton described as aforesaid; thence south-westerly along that boundary to the point of commencement.

Also all that area in the Opaki Riding of the County of Masterton, situated in Block IV, Tiffin Survey District, containing 3 acres and 32 perches, more or less, bounded as follows: Commencing at a point being the southernmost corner of part Section 34, Masterton Small Farm Settlement, being the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 350, folio 106 (Wellington Registry); thence proceeding north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of the land in the aforesaid certificate of title and its production to the boundary of the Borough of Masterton as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 75 of 18th September, 1941, at page 2808; thence south-easterly and south-westerly by that boundary to the centre line of West Bush Road; thence north-easterly by a right line to the point of commencement.


SECOND SCHEDULE

AREA EXCLUDED FROM THE BOROUGH OF MASTERTON AND INCLUDED IN THE COUNTY OF MASTERTON

ALL that area in the Borough of Masterton, situated in Block IV, Tiffin Survey District, containing 31 perches, more or less, bounded as follows: Commencing at a point being the intersection of the northern boundary of the land in Certificate of Title, Volume 479, folio 110, being part Lot 4, on Deeds Plan numbered 198, lodged in the Deeds Registry Office at Wellington, and the eastern boundary of the Borough of Masterton as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 75 of 18th September, 1941, at page 2808, thence proceeding easterly and southerly by the northern and eastern boundaries of the land in the aforesaid certificate of title, to the boundary of the Borough of Masterton, described as aforesaid; thence northerly generally by that boundary to the point of commencement.

Vesting the Management of the Wharf at Waitapu in the Waitapu Harbour Board, Prescribing Dues for the Use of Same, and Making Regulations for the Management of the Wharf

At the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of October, 1950

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act, 1923, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby vest in the Waitapu Harbour Board (hereinafter called the Board, which term shall include its successors and assigns unless the context requires a different construction), the management of the wharf at Waitapu, for the purpose of the use of the said wharf, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the Board upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the First Schedule hereto, and doth prescribe that the dues and rates set forth in the Second Schedule hereto shall be charged and taken by the Board for the use of the said wharf, and doth hereby make the regulations set forth in the Third Schedule hereto for the management of the said wharf.


FIRST SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

  2. The annual sum payable by the Board to the Minister shall be one shilling (1s.) payable on demand.

  3. The term of the licence shall be fourteen years from the date hereof.
