Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work, and Not Required for That Purpose, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1948.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 1 rood 15·7 perches.
Being Lot 3, D.P. 20162, being part Allotment 42, Parish of Manurewa, situated in the Borough of Papatoetoe, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 784, folio 138 (Auckland Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of October, 1950.

Altering the Boundaries of the Otago Electric-power District

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby alter the boundaries of the Otago Electric-power District so as to include the areas described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
(1) ALL that area in the Otago Land District, being part of the County of Waikouaiti, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the southern boundary of the Otago Electric-power District as at present constituted, being the north-western corner of Section 1, Block 6, North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District, and proceeding due south along the western boundary of the said Block 6, to the south-western corner of Section 2, Block 6, North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District; thence due east along the southern boundary of Section 2, Block 6, North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District, to and across a road; thence generally easterly along a line 10 chains south of the Heyward Point Road to the eastern boundary of Section 67, Block 5, North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District; thence northerly to the sea-coast; thence generally north-westerly along the coast-line to Heyward Point Trig. Station; thence generally westerly along the coast-line to the north-eastern corner of Beach Reserve, Section 53, Block 4, North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of Block 4, North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of Section 27, Block 4, North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District; thence generally westerly along the southern boundary of the Otago Electric-power District to the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked S.H.D. 98, deposited in the office of the Minister in Charge of the State Hydro-electric Department, and thereon outlined in green.
(2) All those areas in the Otago Land District, being parts of the County of Clutha—
(a) Bounded by a line commencing at a point on the southern boundary of the Otago Electric-power District as at present constituted, being the north-western corner of Section 45, Block 1, Catlins Survey District, and proceeding due south along the western boundary of the said Block 1 to the south-eastern corner of Section 4, Block 7, Catlins Survey District; thence due west along the southern boundary of Section 4, Block 7, Catlins Survey District and across an intervening road to a road; thence generally south-westerly along the last-mentioned road and across the same to the north-eastern corner of Section 11, Block 7, Catlins Survey District; thence due west along the northern boundary of the said Section 11 to the north-western corner of the said Section 11; thence due south to the north-eastern corner of Section 13, Block 7, Catlins Survey District; thence due west along the northern boundary of the said Section 13 to the north-western corner of the said Section 13; thence due south along the western boundary of the said Section 13, to and across a road; thence generally north-westerly along the said road to the north-western corner of Section 8, Block 5, Woodland Survey District; thence due south along the western boundaries of Section 8 and Section 7, Block 5, Woodland Survey District, to the south-western corner of the said Section 7; thence due east along the southern boundaries of the said Section 7 and Section 6, Block 5, Woodland Survey District, to the Papatupu Stream; thence generally south along the eastern bank of the aforesaid stream to the south-western corner of Section 17A, Block 5, Woodland Survey District; thence due east along the northern boundaries of Sections 18, 19, 20, and 21, Block 5, Woodland Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of Section 21, Block 5, Woodland Survey District; thence due south along the eastern boundaries of Section 21, Block 5, Woodland Survey District, and Section 20 and Section 21, Block 6, Woodland Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of Section 21, Block 6, Woodland Survey District; thence north-easterly along a road to the north-western corner of Section 15, Block 6, Woodland Survey District; thence due south along the western boundary of the said Section 15, to the south-western corner of the said Section 15; thence due east along the southern boundaries of the said Section 15 and Section 3, Block 7, Woodland Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of the said Section 3; thence south-easterly along the south-western boundary of Section 5, Block 7, Woodland Survey District, across a road, along the south-western boundary of Section 42, Block 7, Woodland Survey District, and across another road to the north-western corner of Section 48, Block 7, Woodland Survey District; thence along the south-western boundary of the said Section 48 to the southern corner of the said Section 48; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 48, 47, 46, and 45, Block 7, Woodland Survey District, to and across the Purakanui River; thence generally south-easterly along the northern bank of the Purakanui River to the sea; thence generally north-easterly along the sea-coast to the Catlins River Mouth; thence across the Catlins River to its northern bank, being the present boundary of the Otago Electric-power District; thence generally north-westerly along the present boundary of the Otago Electric-power District to the point of commencement.
(b) Bounded by a line commencing at a point on the southern boundary of the Otago Electric-power District, as at present constituted, being the north-eastern corner of Section 47, Block 4, Glenomaru Survey District, and proceeding generally southerly along the sea-coast to a point due south of the western boundary of Section 47, Block 6, Glenomaru Survey District; thence generally northerly along the present boundary of the Otago Electric-power District to the north-western corner of L.T.P. 3087, Block 5, South Molyneux Survey District; thence generally south-easterly along the present boundary of the Otago Electric-power District to the point of commencement.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked S.H.D. 99, deposited in the Office of the Minister in Charge of the State Hydro-electric Department, and thereon outlined in green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of September, 1950.
