Mining Privilege to be Struck Off the Register

NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with the provisions of section 188 of the Mining Act, 1926, that, unless sufficient cause to the contrary is shown within one month from the date hereof, the mining privilege mentioned in the Schedule hereto will be struck off the Register.

Notice to Persons Affected by Applications for Licences Under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936

Pharmacy Industry

R. N. Thornton, 42 Kitenui Avenue, Mt. Albert, Auckland, has applied for a licence to operate a new pharmacy at 1895 Great North Road, Avondale, Auckland.

Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit

A. W. Doran, Gladstone Road, Richmond, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at Gladstone Road, Richmond.

Skulander and Cavaye, Ltd., Main Road, Orewa, North Auckland, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on store premises at Orewa, North Auckland.

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 19th October, 1950, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.

NOTICE is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired under the Forests Act, 1949, as permanent State forest land.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.β€”AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, in the Borough of Kaikohe, containing by admeasurement 10 acres and 25 perches, more or less, being Lot 1 on Deposited Plan No. 36866 (Auckland Land Registry), and being part of Taraire No. 1L Block, situated in Block XV, Omapere Survey District, and being also all the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 958, folio 113 (Auckland Land Registry). As the same is delineated on plan No. 5/45, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
