NOTICE is hereby given that the Public Trustee has filed in the Supreme Court an election to administer in respect of the several estates of the persons deceased whose names, residences, and occupations (so far as known) are hereunder set forth :—

Unclaimed Lands.—Notice by the Public Trustee Under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II) and its Amendments

To the owner of the following land, that is to say: All that parcel of land containing 10 acres more or less, being Allotment 108 in the Parish of Kaiwaka, County of Marsden (now Whangarei): Bounded on the north by a line 1,335 links, on the south-east by a road 100 links wide 750 links, on the south by Allotment 109 in the said Parish, 1,660 links, and on the west by a line 663 links; and being the whole of the land comprised in an unregistered Crown Grant, to John Horner, of Te Arai, Farmer.

WHEREAS, after due inquiry, the owner of the above-described land cannot be found: And whereas the said owner has no known agent in New Zealand: Now, the Public Trustee hereby calls upon such owner, within six months of the date of the publication of this notice in this Gazette, to establish to the satisfaction of the Public Trustee his title to the said land, and if he fails or neglects so to do the Public Trustee will exercise, as regards the said land, the powers and authorities granted to him in and by the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its amendments.

Sale of Unclaimed Property

Police Department,
Wellington, 28th September, 1950.

IT is hereby notified that unclaimed property in the hands of the Police at the various Police Stations will, if not claimed before Saturday, the 28th October, 1950, be sold thereafter by public auction.

Particulars as to the time and place of sale may be obtained from the Superintendent or Inspector of Police in charge of the District.

Releasing Land From the Provisions of Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby revokes, so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, a certain notice dated the 28th day of June, 1950, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 43 of the 6th day of July, 1950, at page 874, whereby the provisions of Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936, were applied to, inter alia, the said land, and such land is hereby excluded from the Hokianga Development Scheme.

Declaring Land to be Subject to Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the said Act, and to be included in the Hokianga Development Scheme.


SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the Tokerau Maori Land Court District, containing 152 acres 2 roods 31 perches, more or less, called or known as Waima B 35, and situate in Blocks III, IV, VII, VIII, Waoku Survey District.
