HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 27 of the Public Works Amendment
Act, 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, doth hereby amend the Order in Council
dated the 12th day of June, 1946, and published in New Zealand
Gazette No. 41 of the 13th day of the same month, at page 810,
and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington under
No. 2027, authorizing the Lower Hutt City Council to permit the
laying-off of a street (Kebbell Grove—a street off High Street) in
the City of Lower Hutt, of a width less than 66 feet, but not less
than 50 feet, subject to a condition as to the building-line, by varying
the building-line condition imposed by the said Order in Council so
that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected
on Lot 3, D.P. 12434, being part Section 46, Hutt District, and
being all the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title,
Volume 555, folio 6, Wellington Land Registry, within a distance of
40 feet from the centre-line of the portion of Kebbell Grove fronting
the said Lot 3, D.P. 12434.

Domain Board Appointed to Have Control of the Darfield Domain

In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section
44 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act,
1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
John Harry Knight Woodhouse,
Jackson Hine Rich,
Jack Blamires,
Samuel Robert Burns, and
Roland Sinclair Williams
to be the Darfield Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint
Wednesday, the 11th day of October, 1950, at 8 o'clock p.m., as the
time when, and the Darfield Memorial Hall, as the place where,
the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
