Central Riding
All that area of land in the Nelson Land District, situated in the County of Waimea, commencing at a point on the sea-coast, being the south-eastern corner of section 91, Moutere Hills District, situated in Block I, Moutere Survey District, and bounded generally as follows : Towards the east by the sea-coast to the Appleby Riding hereinbefore described ; thence towards the south-east and south by the aforesaid Appleby Riding and the Wai-iti Riding hereinbefore described ; thence towards the west by the Wangapeka Riding hereinbefore described ; thence towards the north by the Motueka Harbour Board District (New Zealand Statute 1905, page 762, and section 84 of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1923), to the point of commencement.

Motueka Riding
All that area of land in the Nelson Land District, situated n the County of Waimea, commencing at a point on the sea-coast, being the eastern extremity of the boundary-line between the Counties of Waimea and Takaka, and bounded generally as follows : Towards the east by the Waimea County boundary as described in New Zealand Gazette 1950, page 1651, to the boundary of the Borough of Motueka (New Zealand Gazette 1939, page 2175); thence towards the south and east by the last-mentioned boundary to the Moutere Riding ; thence towards the south by that boundary to the boundary-line between the Waimea and Takaka Counties; thence towards the west and north by the last-mentioned boundary-line to the point of commencement, and including all islands adjacent to the sea-coast.

Moutere Riding
All that area of land in the Nelson Land District, situated in the County of Waimea, commencing at a point on the sea-coast, being the north-eastern corner of Section 90, Moutere Hills District, situated in Block II, Moutere Survey District, and bounded generally as follows : Towards the south by the Central and Wangapeka Ridings hereinbefore described to the boundary-line between the Waimea and Buller Counties ; thence towards the north-west by the boundary-line between the counties of Waimea and Buller and the boundary-line between the Counties of Waimea and Takaka, to the south-western boundary of Section 17, Block I, Motueka Survey District ; thence towards the north by the said Section 17 and Sections 18, 11, 7, 12, and 13, Block I, aforesaid, Section 106, Square 3, Sections 37, 1, 13, and 14, Block II, Motueka Survey District, to and across a public road and by Sections 11 and 12, Block II, aforesaid, Section 15, Square 3, and the southern boundary of Section 1 of 62, Motueka Rural District, to and across a public road, again by that boundary to and across a public road and by that boundary produced to the west bank of the Motueka River; thence by that bank to the road forming the eastern boundary of Section 33, Block III, Motueka Survey District ; thence by that road to the south-western corner of Section 252, Motueka District, thence by the southern boundary of the said Section 252 and the western and southern boundaries of Section 239, Motueka District, to and across a public road ; thence by Section 222, Motueka District, to and across Chamberlain Street ; thence by Section 208, M.B. Motueka District, to the boundary of the Borough of Motueka (New Zealand Gazette 1939, page 2175); thence by that boundary to the sea-coast ; thence towards the east by the sea-coast to the point of commencement, and including the islands and tidal mud-flats of the Moutere Inlet.

The foregoing special order was duly passed at a special meeting of the Waimea County Council held on the 12th day of May, 1950, and confirmed at an ordinary meeting of the Council held on the 14th day of July, 1950.The said special order was duly made in accordance with the provisions of section 99 of the Counties Act, 1920.

Pursuant to regulation 3 (5) of the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations 1950, the Minister of Transport doth hereby alter the Stratford County Council's proposed classification of roads and doth hereby declare that the roads described in the Schedule hereto and situated in the Stratford County shall belong to the class of roads shown in the said Schedule.
